Nursing and lactation staff were fantastic

We’re able to diagnose my issue that was causing chest pains and abnormally high blood pressure and told me to go see a cardiologist.

The front desk and hospital staff are amazing! Everyone was caring and professional. All of my questions were answered by the knowledgeable medical team. I was anxious; however, they put me at ease before the procedure. I highly recommend this hospital to anyone that desires quality medical care.

This was the best service EVER. We are from LA, and truly believe that we wouldn’t have received the level of care that we received here. Will be coming back for my next baby. From the nurses, doctors, janitors, nursery, lactation specialists, security… everyone was so friendly and kind. Never felt like a rushed conversation. Left feeling confident and informed about being a first time parent. 5 stars! Loved it!
The patients are cared for very well and the information provided is very helpful to manage new mons who they leave hospital
The care was good and the staff (nurses) were efficient and empathetic.
The Doctor was very aloof. Sun-standard bedside manner. I was seen for the second time for what I felt was a blood clot in my right calf. This is the exact same place I previously had a blood clot.
But when asked after a 2nd negative ultrasound, the Doctor says, “Well it’s not dangerous. I’m just an ER Doctor.”
He said he would refer me to an Orthopedic Specialist. I inquired that I thought the specialties were more specialized more these days.
He said, basically, your calf is a muscle, right? I felt that this was condescending. As well, I feel it would have been more appropriate to refer me to a Vascular Specialist. Thank You.

The quality of care could be more consistent across the staff and departments. For example, Varshana, Wendy, Uzi in L&D were wonderful. I couldn’t have had a better triage and admission experience. Amy in L&D was phenomenal. She was extremely attentive, compassionate, patient, kind, and took the time to ensure I understood the care I was receiving AND why. She made sure not only that I was comfortable and my needs were met, but she also checked in on my family constantly. If I could have Amy as a nurse every time I came to L&D, I would. I’m so grateful for her and how she treated me.
The transition to postpartum was smooth and seamless. Brittany was also a great nurse to have. She too was patient and caring, but most satisfying was that she was personable & relatable. She was extremely kind and attentive. Ashleigh was very sweet, but oftentimes she had others performing her vitals resulting in premature frequency causing unnecessary interruptions in the night. The rest of the postpartum team were kind, and I’m sure they are good nurses from a technical standpoint; however, their bedside manner was either non-existent or offensive. Offensive in that the information was given in a condescending manner or left us feeling like we’re were being talked at.
Ana with the nursery was like Amy; absolutely amazing. She was very gentle with our son and you can tell she loves her career. She ensured we understood the care being provided to our son, why, and even provided historical information for treatment being given. All results from tests and vitals were communicated She always checked on me despite me not being her patient. Ana could take care of my son any day. Joyce with the nursery could not have been any more disappointing and underwhelming. She was almost authoritative in her communication instead of asking or reviewing the birth plan. Additionally, I had to continuously ask for the results of my son’s vitals. She never explained what she was doing. She’s not someone who could care for my son.

The BAD Someone called 5 days before and shared all my personal information with out conmriming it was me. They sahred DOB, SS, address and many other details before cofirming my identity. Not OK. Check in process slow, inconvient, and not very freindly.

Once escorted to room everyone was wonderful and atttentive. The Nurses, DR, CRNA, and all staff were AMAZING and caring
