I was misdiagnosed in the ER. The doctor did not examine me. The ER doctor mis-read my chart from Medical City, and sent me home. He did no physical exam.
I had the most amazing experience. From the front desk to leaving, I was treated with just kindness. Terri was my pre-op nurse and I cannot say enough positive things about her. She was kind, compassionate, friendly and made me feel calm and informed. The anesthesiologist showed a lot of compassion for what I was going through when he came to tell me about being put under. Our post-op nurse, Dan, was incredible too. He talked with us, made sure we had all the questions answered that we needed and brought me anything I needed as I was coming out of anesthesia. I was having a procedure that was very emotional, and their kindness helped ease my mind before and after surgery.
My experience in the ER was absolutely horrible. Would never return to this ER.
The subsequent experience at the actual hospital in the surgery center with Dr. Knoll, Pyatt(?) and their teams was lovely (except for my first recovery nurse who was not a happy camper) but the second recovery nurse was amazing.
Great nurses, great food, love my OB Dr Mitchell, have delivered here four times and every experience was good, very quick to check you in if you are in labor

Everyone was very friendly including the nurses and the doctors and the ladies at the receiving desk at the front of the emergency room. I was also very impressed with how quickly we were processed and seen and then moved out - the whole process was very fast.
I had an excellent experience at this hospital. The doctors, nurses, and support staff were kind, professional, and attentive throughout my visit. They took the time to explain everything clearly, answered all my questions, and made me feel comfortable and well cared for. I highly recommend Baylor Scott & White Medical Center to anyone seeking quality medical care.

Overall the nurses and doctors were amazing. I think there can be further direction regarding whom you can bring with to surgery, age, limitations and instructions beforehand to avoid possible rescheduling or chaos.
It’s been so wonderful! We loved everything about our experience. From the nurses, to the care, to the intentionality, we will be back!
The staff for the most part is attentive, professional, and knowledgeable. Everything is done in a timely manner.
The ER had no patients in the waiting room. I brought my 97 year old father in for a rash that we thought was from taking Creon (for pancreas).
The prescription instructions said a rash was a severe reaction and to get immediate attention.
We saw the 1st nurse (Brittany) very quickly. She set the tone for the entire visit by her sour demeanor. She was cold, impatient, and somewhat rude. She said the rash was not from taking Creon but she would still have the dr look at it. She took his BP which was 172/99 and left the room. I noticed the high BP and went to retrieve her and she said she would take it again in a few minutes. Nurse Brittany could use some coaching on her ability to deal compassionately with diverse clients she will see in an ER.

Providers offer excellent care with competent and friendly staff.
I waited for more than 3 hours, few nurses did visit but a doctor never came, and then shift changed and again I just heard that since there are high numbers of patients, it will take some time for a doctor to come.
At last, I just asked a nurse to put a bandage and so I could go.
