Alpin Haus sells some of the best built RVs on the market. Service is done by highly skilled, knowledgeable staff I highly recommend them
Too many return trips to fix roof leaks which led to other problems, as well as several other problems. If someone asked me about either the Grand Design product or service I would have to be honest. This was a brand new camper bought from Alpin Haus and has been one headache after another. Hopefully the latest fixes will be the last trip back to Exit 16 for this year.
better answering of the phone i feel it should not take over 2 days calllig on a regular basis to receive a answer back.
Took 6 months to fix the warranty issues my camper had and while on the property my camper was hit and damaged... overall poor customer service....I paid for a dealer prep... obviously didn't get done as if it had my camper would not have been there for the repairs needed and would not have been damaged...
-we are satisfied and pleased with our recent business at Alpin Haus .. courteous, efficient, pleasant, and friendly interactions with the office service department personnel- and timely work done for our unit being inspected as was needed.

Staff was professional and knowledgable
The people are still friendly and try to be helpful AFTER your purchase, though hard to reach at times. We had an upcoming vacation and a defective slide out and they got me fixed in time so we could go. Repairs done at Amsterdam facility were done well. These new motor homes are very complicated to operate, being much more electronic than ones from 10 years ago, and most times I was able to get phone help fairly promptly. Our service writer, Jennifer Downing, was extremely helpful in getting our slide fixed, and all techs we dealt with were knowledgeable and helpful, especially Billy A. This is our 5th motor home and we must say, Alpin Haus has evolved into an excellent dealer.

Before purchase, everyone was helpful, returned messages, and was overall polite. I had even given a 5 star review because I was that impressed by the attention and felt confident with the decision to buy.
Not even an hour after purchase, my experience completely changed. The Salesman was rude and made fun of me. Other staff members apologized for him but he never did. Within 2 days, there were over 2 dozen items that needed to be replaced or repaired. When I called for help, the staff did help, but said they were busy and to call the manufacturer going forward.
My travel plans for the past 2 months have been ruined because I still have not been able to enjoy my purchase. For 3 weeks, I worked with 2 people who would commit to a follow-up, but did not return my calls, and Thor advised to work with you. I had to reach out to the Better Business Bureau to get you guys to call me back.
More than 1 person on your staff has shared my experience is common- that the first time buyer would have dozens of issues the first few months after purchase. Had they shared this when I was looking to buy, I definitely would not have. I would have purchased something used again.
Some folks have asked where I made my purchase, and I've told them not to go to you. I really feel conned and foolish. As soon as I can, I plan to get rid of this headache. I don't ever want to work with you guys again.
