First RV - "Welcome to the community" service.
My lifelong dream was to own an RV. Got it, then needed Alpin Haus to look it over, inspect it, provide new tires, and check the roof.
Dropped it off on a Sunday. By Monday moring Mike R (Service Dept) gave me a call, informed me of the status of my inspections, and kept me notified every step of the way. Walked me through it like the pro he is.
Once completed (Friday afternoon - AFTER HOURS), Kim (Customer Care Team Manager), who had a very busy day, called to ensure that my camping trailer was processed properly, and then (because I am new to RVing and can't properly back it up yet) had my camper in a place that I could easily extract it from.

Very eager to make a sale but could do better with the post sale treatment. I would be a repeat customer, new camper every 5-8 years, yearly service and possibly storage etc…
The customer needs to feel valued, appreciated and taken care of. I don’t want to feel like someone is always trying to make a dollar off of me and that I’m being taken advantage of.
Everything from setting up the appt to picking up camper after work was completed

Great service follow up
The service dept has been very helpful and everyone is very nice. We also like that we can safely store our RV with them for the winter for a reasonable price.

Your service folks are very difficult to reach. I rarely get a person when I call, and messages that are left often take more than a day to be acknowledged. Sometimes, they are never returned and I have to call and go through the frustration again.

I would ask that the communications be a little more forth-coming, especially with respect to diagnostic fees and then service related costs. So the customer fully understands what we are paying for.
Lastly - when I initially called - I called the phone # on your website listed as service and I believe it went to the parts dept. So I am not sure the details there are correct.

Top grade campers and remarkable service when called.
The rating of 10 is for Theresa in the customer service department. Not in other areas that we have had concerns within the past. Teresa, since she has become our service, advisor has gone above and beyond to keep us informed. We have a catastrophic problem with our five year old rv, and she is understanding and doing all she can to assist us with this huge problem. It started many years ago, so we are very appreciative of what her efforts are at this point.
We recently had a very disappointing service experience at your Saratoga location.
Before bringing in our camper, we clearly communicated the issue and asked whether the repair would be covered under warranty. Despite this, your team proceeded with a diagnosis and charged us a $100 diagnostic fee - even though we had already described the problem in detail.
To make matters worse, the service technician appeared completely unprepared and uninformed.
Adding to our frustration, when we picked up the camper, it had been left on your lot with all of the under-storage compartments unlocked—one of which was even left wide open.
It’s also incredibly frustrating that whenever you call the Saratoga service department, you're placed on hold for a bit and then sent to voicemail. We’ve since learned that calls are apparently routed through Amsterdam, but that shouldn’t prevent a real person from answering the phone.
Overall, this experience has left us extremely dissatisfied with the level of service and attention to detail.

I was charged for checking my heat. I said it was the air flow being blocked. I had a garage can in front of. I don’t agree with the charge and told them at check out but they said they can’t remove it. Other than that, it was good experience. The staff are always friendly and helpful. This is also the only time I’ve disagreed with charges
Service and sales are stellar.
I got a 23 Thor Scope 18M. Ive had several problems in the last two years of owning my camper and Alpin Haus of Oak Ridge has been there to help me out. My last visit concerns about a propane leak and was fixed by alpin haus and covered under warranty. They also did the yearly check up for this coming sesaon. I recommend them especially Jonathan who is very helpful, kind and professional to me.

Service is 2nd to none. Everyone is super nice and go out of their way to help and answer questions. Don Terpening sold me a camper back in 2020 and I just bought another one with Don as my salesman. Don and the whole crew worked hard for me on my trade in and made sure I was taken care of. And this being my 5th camper. 2nd one from Alpin House might not be the last I buy from you.
