We brought out 2024 keystone cougar in for some maintenance under warranty....
Missed having trailer around, 1 month for repairs...but now back to 100%

Recently purchased a new fifth wheel from AH. Had a great experience with Mark from sales, Keith from finance and everyone who help from service and parts. We were treated like family!! Had our first campout this past weekend and new camper did great! Mark from sales listened to what we wanted, and the camper was very comfortable. We have planned several trips going forward. Every one and every thing went well with the service we needed.
The stairs on our camper were not the ones we were shown on the model, no spair tire, there was damage to the camper when we went to pick up. We were told the camper was going to be moved from Amsterdam to saratoga the day before we picked up but ended up going the day we picked up. The TV wasn't installed.
I recently went up to have the warranty forever check for the year. Scotty and parts is very knowledgeable and very friendly. Most of the staff said hello. Unfortunately, we’re all under tight budgets labor materials keep going up but small repairs are also expensive. Maybe someday we can have more reasonable rates for labor and also parts. Unfortunately, a lot of this is out of our control. Thank you very much Doug Last name removed
I’m really in a holding pattern right now. Having an A/C warranty issue at the moment between Alpin Haus, Jayco and the manufacturer. Cost me a trip in August to Virginia. Called and dropped off rig in July, well ahead of warranty expiration. Seems like ball was dropped. Advised I had to call Jayco, Jayco advised they were communicated to by Alpin Haus. Ball back in Alpin Haus court. Hoping Alpin Haus and or Jayco do the right thing. Always gave high praise in reviews of Alpin Haus in past. Now… we will see.
Alpin Haus has always done good by us. Staff is friendly and professional.

The front desk quickly provided me with a chock when I requested it. And the tech who did the work on my camper, I believe his name was Zac took a large amount of time to explain to me all of the work he did and explained a few times to me how I would start up again in the spring. He took the time until I fully understood which was greatly appreciated.
Customer service was nice but the price for repair was outrageous. I understand that the way they planned the repair would cost a lot of money but maybe they could have suggested a less expensive way to repair problem that may not have been the perfect way. $7000 to repair a camper that is currently going for $12,000 is way too much.
So this is my rating for customer service in Orange County.
My rating for Alpine House of New Jersey is a big fat 0. We just purchased the camper last year. We were told they did all of this inspection stuff. Well, on our first trip out we got to Chicago and needed brakes and rotetrs. $800!!! Now, we find a window leak - that is obviously not new to cause so much damage!!! Obviously they did NOT do the inspections indicated!!!!
Now that I think of it I will be reporting this on numerous sites!!!!! Stay away from Alpine House in New Jersey!!!!!!
Scott from service dept was extremely helpful when we were locked out of our brand new camper due to a entry door lock failure.

Thank you to the staff in Amsterdam especially Theresa for the quick service on our travel trailer. When it's 40 degrees and the heater dies it's a tough start to vacation.

I have paid out over $1500.00, and have been waiting since may to get my camper fixed, and nothing has been fixed. I am no further ahead now then i was four months ago. I am intending on calling today and speaking to a manager, if the problem is not fixed soon i will have no choice but to call the better business burrow.

Better communications in the service department.
The rib in closet that got wet due to leaking was not replaced even though it was under warranty. The wood is splitting. We bought camper in spring and have not used it because of leaks. We brought it back for leaks couple months ago and we were told it was fixed super good and then the next rain water came it. I have spent multiple trips towing camper to alpin Haus costing me couple hundred dollars. Los my entire camping season even though I bought NEW camper. I have been offered nothing so far and am very disappointed

The service or parts side of things could be better. We had an issue with a missing antenna for the camera we had installed. We called about it several times and we were told they are looking and would let us know. We never heard back so we ended up looking into it and buying a replacement ourselves. We have not inform you that we have purchase our own to see if we heard from the service or parts department. It has been about 3 weeks and still nothing. Also we had an issue with our power cord. Our campers power cord was MIA we called several times to try and resolve the issue. We did get a call back to ask a question. A few days went by and we didn't hear anything. It was not until I stopped in that a new cord was ordered. Nothing was being done and no communication to the customer. As it is, we missed a planned weekend of camping with our children because of the missing cord and would have missed a second weekend if I didn't make a point of stopping in rather than waiting for a call. It comes down the service/parts department needs to have better customer service, better communication.
The sales people and financial people were great. They were attentive, responsive, the whole process went smoothly.
At no fault to us parts went *missing*and our vacation had to be cancelled and no summer getaways for us. But you guys certainly got paid every month from us.

The entire Heck family should be proud of this establishment. It is MORE THAN 10 STARS.. The service department goes out of their way to make sure you leave not only happy but, TRULY DELIGHTED..😊 Special thanks to Scott and Jim. Both, exemplary employees…
