There’s no parking downtown Halifax. Not dogtopias fault, but if you have a disability it makes it hard to use the services

Check for pet injuries especially after playing in the hard surface.
All the staff is very kind attentive, and knowledgeable. The facility is clean and well cared for. I love being able to check in on my dog through the day and I love the report cards. My dog always looks happy when I pick him up.
We have had amazing staff and everyone is very loving when working with all the dogs; however, my pup is quite shy and the amount of dogs in her area is waaay too much stimulation for her. Perhaps she will get used to it or one day she will be more comfortable, but not sure she will get there with only sporadic boardings/daycare visits. The staff are friendly but do not interact with my pup very often, maybe just one of their staff I’ve seen petting her. I read the rules and regulations, so I get the why but also, perhaps smaller, more shy pups could be in a different group or have cuddles/pets more often so they can feel more calm and safe. Other than that, I really like the availability to watch my pup over video cameras! Thank you for all you do!!
Friendly, caring, and professional staff. My dog, Jet loves coming to Dogtopia to play with all of her 4 legged friends! Thank you for all do for our fur babies!
Like the different food additions, theme days and that my dog feels comfortable going there.
She always lays down and dozes off to sleep on the ride home.
Also like that they call her by name when she comes in. Loved the quick pictures that get sent…….. her loving the pup cup or the power bowl
Caring staff. I feel like my dog is always well cared for.
We love that our dog is always happy to come back to dogtopia- he loves it there! The staff are friendly and prompt for pickup/dropoff- this has been improved a lot from the time we started going there. We love that it seems the staff love our dog as much as we do! The add on services for meals and treats are nice and the special events are fun to participate in.
My dog attends daycare at dogtopia in Decatur. I love how personalized his care is and how all the people who work at this location know who he is. He is a little bit of an anxious dog and I have noticed that he is very comfortable, which in turn makes me very happy. I also like that he gets some social time with other dogs and comes home content and happy.
The staff is wonderful! Luna is always happy and tired when I pick her up.
It would be nice if the dogs were able to take a break from the room that they’re in and transition to another space or outside. Also, I’m not sure if they clean up the dogs accidents right when it happens because I noticed some of the dogs either smelling the pee or walking across it. I’ve also noticed at times there is only one staff in a room with more than eight dogs. It would be helpful to have two people in a room just for extra safety.
They provide excellent care and socialization while keeping my puppy safe, exercised, and happy. The staff are very accommodating and understanding when unexpected situations occurs. I can’t say enough positive things!

I have always found the team members to be kind and loving. Our dog is so happy to be at Decatur Dogtopia. I also think the staff are responsive to any concerns I might raise, which is greatly appreciated. Thank you, team, for making our dog's visits to Decatur Dogtopia so much fun!

Friendly and well informed staff.
Indoor facility so regardless of the weather the dogs will have plenty of play time.
The staff was very nice, helpful & knowledgeable. I don't like that you have no outside facilities for the dogs to play & potty. I would recommend more things for the dogs to do inside other than just stairs. They had never been to daycare & they loved it. We will be using you again!
On the financial side, the nice brochure is too elaborate and no need to spend the funds on things most of us will throw away, such as I did X 2. My career was in accounting & trimming the fat, if you will. Being a franchise, this might be something you don't have any control over. Just the amount of wasted paper should be noted as well. Now days people are getting away from paper anyway. Sorry if this is too much info but after 40 yrs in account, including a franchise company, these things just stand out to me.
My pup and I love Dogtopia! He is happy to have a safe place to run and play. I’m happy to have wonderful, caring people watching over him. I know every staff member loves my pup just as much as I do!
Always happy with the staff, hours are convenient. Seems like everyone really cares for the dogs.
More exercise and training for the dogs .
It appears that we are only getting babysitting services .

The staff were very upbeat, friendly, and seem to really love their job. The staff are helpful and made us feel comfortable about leaving our dog at the doggie daycare. The facility host healthy homemade meals and snacks for a fee. There are Webcam which allowed us to check in on our pup. We love it there!!!
The staff are very friendly and knowledgeable! The hours are great and it’s nice and clean inside.
