Mootzie's first day at Dogtopia was awesome! I loved watching the web-cam throughout his play day. I'm confident we've found the right play place during the week, as well as the perfect place for him to stay while I'm on vacation later this month. I really am not certain that my dog any longer is being loved on when he is kenneled. I used to get texts with pictures of my dog and know that he was having special time with one of the workers outside early in the mornings one on one or in other activities. Now every time we drop him off there are different people working the front desk and they aren't especially enthusiastic to take my dog. They can't even turn their phones over or put them away when we arrive. The workers seem bored and just monotone when we are greeted, and I swear they are high and just smoked weed-they reek and their eyes are so bloodshot. The dogs on camera are not being played with or petted when I watch in the different rooms via my phone, and I DO CHECK IT. It makes me very apprehensive about leaving him when I kennel him now. We have been bringing Cody here for years now and we pay for a suite for him, and it just seems to have gone down hill to be honest. I get no report of anything when I pick him up or barely any thanks for bringing him or even the workers telling him bye. The past visit before this one we paid for a bath and he wasn't bathed when we got him (And we arrived at the scheduled time we told we you all we were picking him up). I would also like to know in advance if you don't have records of his latest vaccines before when he is supposed to come in. This past visit was very frustrating because I cannot get records of vaccines on a Sunday morning the day I drop off. So to be given a difficult time when there is nothing I can do about it is VERY frustrating. Cody does always have all shots and is always up to date as I know how the kenneling process works and the requirements that are required to leave your dog/kennel your dog-and I'm a proactive dog owner. This past visit we've never had to deal with this before, but we were told he is NOT UP TO DATE, but he is and was. We ensure he is always up to date well before the scheduled kennel time, and I can always have Dr. Colby's office send you the shot records if you don't have them, but I need to know you don't have the information. I do not have any confirmation that I'm given on my app or via phone call that informs me that you all are expecting him or looking forward to his visit-to confirm the appointment. I have to review everything again when I check him in to ensure he is signed up for the correct days of stay and in a suite, no one verifies....I have to check and confirm myself to see what the records show. I should NOT have to complete a form when I drop him off, you should have all his data in the records and then ask ME if anything has changed....if you can KEEP and CHARGE my credit card and confirm it....then you CAN confirm the details you have on record for my dog. There just really is ZERO customer service going on here. I would even be willing to tip the workers if I felt he was getting care but I just am really just no getting much out of you all. I now am getting an uneasy feeling when I leave him that this is just a "daycare" and not much of a kennel to be honest. I will be looking else where to leave Cody going forward, even though he has been coming for years for overnight stays. He is very sensitive, apprehensive, and gets anxiety when we leave him, he is NOT a crated dog at home, but I have a feeling you all are crating him when he should be in his suite. Cody is very people and toy driven, and isn't keen on playing with other dogs. His bed was wet on this past visit....how often are you taking him out? He never pees in our home and especially on his bedding. He tolerates other dogs fine but he really overall just follows the worker around the ENTIRE time while he is in Gym. The worker just ignores him, not even a pat on the head. Being in a daycare or dog park are his least favorite activities or he is going to get scared. When we bring him home he is very guarded of his food and toys around the cats for a few days after we leave him there, so I know this because he was anxious and scared. I would like to know how he is kept over night and who is there to watch the animals. This is an expensive kennel, I expect mor than what we are getting. Sorry to be so frank, but I believe you all need to know what's going on here and the impression your workers are giving and how customers are feeling.

Friendly, clean environment, constant supervision, good communication with pet owners, some help with training challenges. Our dog is always so happy to go there. We have used both day care and boarding.

Our puppy, Ace, started daycare and got his first haircut this week! He got socialization, an adorable hair cut, AND some great sleep at home. The staff at Dogtopia love all their pups and they are well taken care of, both at daycare and during their spa time.

My doodle hasn’t been back to Dogtopia in over a year due to expenses and I needed to get a dog trainer help her out with her puppy stages. She was excited just walking in the door and when I picked her up that night of her reevaluation, she was exhausted and I know she had a great time and she will be back. The staff is very courteous.
My sweet beautiful will be back going to daycare at least once a week.

Location does not have outdoor space, so not ideal for long boarding stays. Also had an incident recently that resulted in an injury to our dog. Customer service to handle the situation was great, but cautious now to take our dog back.
