I like that they know my dog and always greet him by name. I love that I can watch him throughout the day on the cameras and he always looks like he is having fun. I love that Nate is always tired when I pick him cause he has had a great day playing with his friends.
My dog always comes home stinking of dog pee. I wish the rooms were equipped with an area that was more enticing for dogs to use the bathroom - like a faux grass corner or something - versus just peeing all over the floor of the entire room - the dogs then just end up laying in areas that have been peed on and the cleaning method used is not adequate. Ultimately, it’s not very sanitary. While the team is great and takes good care of my dog, I always need to give my dog a really thorough bath after a stay here which is frustrating. I don’t use dogtopia for day care needs specifically for this reason.
Everyone is very friendly and my pooch seems to like being there. He made friends.

When we picked up our dog, the staff had no idea which was our dog, we needed to go back to get him. As we have been boarding Skywalker at Bethpage for 3 years now, this is completely unacceptable. Also, it was clear he was not given the bed we brought with him (it was clean), again unacceptable. Also as we dropped him off at 7pm, it is absurd that we were charged for a full day of daycare, in the past we were never charged for daycare on a drop off night. The staff’s response was “try to drop him off earlier”, a challenge when I am working.
All of the staff are great with the dogs and super friendly with the people. My pup always has an amazing time!

My dog always seems happy when she visits Dogtopia. The staff is always friendly and she is excited to see everyone. I like the cameras and that I can see her occasionally when I miss her. I also find it eases my anxiety that I know she is safe and being taken care of in a safe and clean facility.
Everyone is friendly and seems to genuinely care about our doggers! They know them by name and the dogs seem happy and not stressed when we pick them up.
I haven’t received a link to watch my dog. When I ask I’m told you have a new POS that doesn’t always work. That explains why you are having a problem but there is no promise for a solution. What are you actively doing to solve this issue?
Very friendly staff who clearly love the pups!! My dog is always excited to see the chaperones, which means they treat him with love!
Very professional, caring staff.
Calvin has a blast every time he’s there. We love that we can check in via the webcams, and have always seen him having the time of his life playing with other dogs or being petted by the workers. We know he gets spoiled rotten there!
I love how kind and caring the staff is. For my dog's first evaluation, the manager was very detailed, honest, and knowledgeable about the facility, dog behaviors, and answered all of my questions. He provided a detailed tour and went through all membership options that we both agreed would be best for my dog and our family. I love the ability to watch my dog play and interact with other dogs on the webcam and I truthfully love how after 2 visits the staff already knows Archer and have been keeping a good eye on him making sure he is adjusting well. I would recommend this facility to anyone.
My dog is happy to go and relaxed and calm when I pick him up. Staff greet him warmly and he clearly likes them.
I love that not only do dogs get to play, but there is boarding and spa services as well.
Having theme days, treat days, pictures etc is a lot of fun!

The staff is all so friendly and you can tell the truly love your pet. Everyone is always smiling
I take my dog here because he enjoys it, but some of the front staff seem to not be a fan of my dog. The dog sometimes jumps but I believe this was encouraged when the dog was little at your facility. I do my best to control it but the dog is excited to be there. The attitude of the front desk staff, namely one person, is almost enough to have me looking elsewhere and I may find another doggie daycare just because of it.

Our Penny loves visiting her friends and getting belly rubs from the staff! They all love her when she walks in and she's always so happy to be there.
The coaches are fantastic and care about Alice as much as I do. Alice has a wonderful time and gets to play with other people and dogs which she wouldn't get if she stayed home.

Disappoint is not the right word.
I am concerned about the constant turnover of staff, and most importantly leadership. It is impossible to know who the management is anymore. There is no obvious acknowledgement of leadership at the location and in many instances the staff doesn't seem to know who to direct folks to. That is not acceptable.
In addition, the turnover of coaches is so very hard on our puppies as they bond with the humans. I understand that this may be an entry level job, but when I have talked with these folks, they have planed to be there for a while to learn. Perhaps looking at pay grades in order.
In any event, I like Dogtopia, but I am unhappy about the turmoil. It is hard on us and our puppy.

The staff. They clearly know and care about our dogs so much. They’re flexible and easy to work with. I can’t believe how many activities they have going all the time. We love the pictures and the crafts. And they’re all so friendly and genuine
