The gentleman who answered the phone was very kind and helpful in identifying which room my dog was in and giving me access to the camera to check on her. He even called me back to tell me the correct room.
When I picked her up, I asked how she did. Dogtopia of Katy always gives me a report “she had a lot of energy today” or “she played a lot with Skylar the golden doodle” etc. I didn’t get any info when I picked her up. I asked the girl at the front desk how she did. Since she doesn’t come to this location very often, I’d like to know if she seems to be doing ok or is anxious, etc. The lady at the front desk just shrugged and said “fine I guess.” The guy who brought my dog out to me didn’t offer any info and was already helping another customer.
I know we don’t come very often to this location, but it would be great to hear a sentence or two about how she did. Naturally I’m a bit anxious since she’s not used to this location. I was able to check the cameras once and saw her laying comfortably on the floor like the other dogs. Just a suggestion for future. I really like the Dogtopia brand and how the coaches are trained.

Bailey is not just a dog, she's a family member who depends on me for everything. I wouldn't trust her care and wellbeing to just anyone or any company. This is why I can completely relax when she's at Dogtopia. The staff don't simply like dogs, they are dog people. They know each puppy guest by name, cater to their individual personalities and have no shortage of activities for pups (and parents). The facility is clean, staff are professional and caring and they are constantly looking for ways to enhance the overall experience.

I’m not prone to complain but both my dogs, after picking them up from daycare, boarding and a bath were wet to the skin and their blanket was handed to me covered in urine. Staff member was unaware that the blanket was soiled and that the dogs were wet. I was given a refund for one of the baths, which I appreciated, but I am unlikely to bring my dogs back to this facility.
Friendly staff, clean facility, convenient, and most of all the genuine affection staff has for the dogs!! Watching the webcams it is clear these dogs are having their best day while there.
The lobby reeks of pee and I can’t imagine what the rooms inside must smell like. My dog smelled terrible when we got him home. Worse than any smell of any place we’ve ever boarded him. I think it’s because there’s no outside fresh air space for the animals to go to the bathroom.
I know my dogs are safe and comfortable there. And someone is the room at all times.
