As I walked in to pick up my dog the worker was sending my dog home with someone else. Had my timing not been what it was I would have gotten there to pick up my dog and he wouldn’t have been there. The other person picking up their dog hadn’t really realized it (not sure if they were a friend of the dog owner or what). It was unsettling for me to see the dogs getting mixed up and how close my pup was to being sent home with someone else without his collar on where I could see where he is.
I love that my dog is so excited as we drive up to Dogtopia for drop off, and that she’s happy and tired when I bring her home. All associate interaction is great, and they act like they care about my dog. Drop off and pick up is extremely easy and convenient.
You take amazing care of our Kona girl! We appreciate all that you do to make sure all her daycare days are fun and all her boarding visits are stress free.

Very friendly
They forgot to give us back our dog bed so we have had a hard time coordinating time to go get it. It’s not near us so would’ve been better if they took the time to double check they gave us everything.
The video camera where I can check in on my son. The professionalism of all the people who take care of Biggie. Everyone's positive demeanor. I feel I trust the staff to care for all my dog's needs, which is super important. He gets so much exercise every time he goes!

Very friendly staff. Very flexible, willing to work with you for anything and everything.
From what I can see in the webcams, there is almost nothing for the dogs to do in the rooms other than a few ramps and there is very little interaction with humans.
Also my dogs have gotten a couple of serious illnesses and I wish you’d notify other people when a dog is sick.

Employees are very knowledgeable and friendly. Answer all questions and provide more information. Being able to watch live is a plus
Depends on the new owner. This is a big change - need to see continued health, safety and high staffing practices in actions. Any reductions could impact everything. A lot of other Dogtopia’s get lower ratings than BH so it’s fair to watch and see for changes. In the past of course I would highly recommend!
Our dog, Uki, loves Dogtopia! She gets to play all day with other dogs in a safe environment.
Friendliness of staff. Our dog loves it here. Our dog did come home with eye discharge after spending a week here, which is expected when bring around a lot of other dogs. Would recommend just keeping owners apprised of this. Otherwise, wonderful place and would use again.
The willingness to work with my pup's different moods around the dogs. Helping him have a better play time and interaction with the dogs.

My dog loves this place. All the staff members are amazing, helpful and friendly.
Provide water fountains for the dogs. Higher up off the ground for the large dogs. Keep report cards for the dogs. If there are any concerns let the dog owners know. Make the entrance space bigger.
The staff and coaches are so friendly, professional, and they really care about each and every dog.

Overall, I am really impressed with Dogtopia of Homewood's overall customer service, cleanliness, and care for the dogs. I would just recommend that the Dogtopia associates pay a little more attention to the dogs during play time and ensure there is not any unhealthy behavior, specifically unwanted doggy fornication. I watched my dog repeatedly violated by another white fluffy dog on the web cam while an Dogtopia associate was right beside them. She was more focused on cleaning, which is a good thing, but could have waiting until the dogs were up in their kennels. I get that dogs will be dogs, but it wasn't just an isolated incident. The white fluffy dog humped her repeatedly for over 10 minutes. I was traumatized watching!
