I had an appointment scheduled for Thursday 3/5. I arrived at 7:05am, 5 minutes after opening to be told that daycare was closed for the day. I stated I had an appointment and asked why I wasn’t contacted so that I could make other arrangements. The person working said “Uhhhh you mean this is a meet and greet not a daycare appt?” I said, that it was in fact a day care appointment and showed her the confirmation. She said “I mean daycare is closed for the day we are having plumbing issues and the people need to go in the rooms, so it’s closed.” I stated I was yes a newer customer but regardless why wasn’t I contacted? She told me that *sometimes* a text is sent, I let her know that I did not receive it.
I left extremely annoyed and panicked because I do have a puppy that cannot be left all day which is why I sought out the services Dogtopia has to offer to use when needed. I understand that things happen but customer service should always be #1 priority especially when it comes to people’s animals. I had a commitment to be out of town for work which is why I scheduled the appointment days in advance. With no notice of day care being closed, I had no time to make other arrangements for my puppy to be cared for and I had to cancel my workday.
This makes me feel that the location and staff are not reliable and do not understand the inconvenience their lack of communication can cause.
Lack of oversight leading to my dog getting attacked by another dog. Blatant negligence as the staff was aware of the threat. $1,000 vet bill.

We started using dogtopia a few days ago- We like it a lot- the group working there is great- explain all very good- It seems our Apollo loves the place- I like the the place because it is very clean-Our Apollo got home smelling really good- I like the fact that we can use the webcams to check on our family member. We plan on keep using their services.

The service is pretty good but the prices are too high. The facility is generally good but the exterior/yard is very small for dogs boarding for multiple days or longer. For the premium prices that are being charged at this facility, I would expect a more spacious and amenity elaborate exterior space. I avoid boarding my dog at this facility long-term for that reason. The interior space for overnight dogs is also pretty basic and no staff stays with the dogs through the night. Competitor boarding facilities at this price point offer much more. So my perspectives are largely coming from a boarding perspective, not a daycare.

Staff was very nice and attentive. I saw them giving pets to my dogs multiple time through the cameras and gave them there dinner. Would recommend! My dogs were ready to go play once they came through the doors.
