We love Dogtopia Midvale so much. Our pup has an amazing time and is always well taken care of!
Better communication re: spa appointments. There are dogs with the same names, and it’s happened a few times where another dog received our dog’s service, or vice-a-versa.
The pricing is also very expensive, but we continue to pay it because we know it’s a lot of work for the staff and our dog enjoys it. I’m just not sure how sustainable it will be for us in the long run.
I would also like to know how the group enrichment activities work a bit better. From viewing the webcam, it doesn’t seem like staff work to engage the dogs. I could be totally wrong because webcams vs live is very different. But for the money we spend, it would be nice to see our fur babies have more guidance in participating.
The convenience of the location and the hours. The real magic is the staff. I feel confident that Josie is in good hands when she is dropped off and that she will be cared for. The rates are reasonable and there is flexibility to change the schedule either temporarily or full time.
All of the coaches are top notch and I know my pup is safe and loved while she’s there playing with her fur friends.
Lack of communication with membership and lack of communication/ updates while being boarded
We have been here 5 years and have been through the growing pains. Can honestly say, we are happy all across the board. We love everybody. Our girl gets treated like the Queen she is..
Friendly staff treat all the dogs with love
My dog was underfed despite verbal as well as written instructions. The food was clearly marked per day but the food for Saturday and Sunday was returned as is.
All of the staff are really lovely and enthusiastic. The facility is spotless and I like to be able to check on my dog with the webcams. Dude loves to go!
My dogs have little socialization and this facility is a godsend.

Love the people that work there and the location. Everyone knows my dog and I appreciate the service I am a bit disappointed that there is no engagement with the dogs throughout the day or enrichment type activities. Most times when I check the webcam dogs are just laying around or not doing anything all day. I was hoping for a bit more engagement with my dog to keep him active with an activity or even just throwing a ball or toy. That would be my only complaint that I would like to see improved upon. More interaction, engagement or structured activities at some point in the day vs just free roam as most of the dogs rarely engage with each other and just lay around. Otherwise, I am happy with the service overall.
Personalized service and focus on Penelope's experience, especially since this is her first time at daycare.
As a stay at home sports parent, weekend times are what lack for me. Closing early on Saturday and then not being able to drop off on Sundays or holidays for a one day/night stay instead of a whole weekend.
