Really caring staff. My dog loves her Dogtopia days.
She recently stayed a few days while we were out of town. The staff took great care of her she had a wonderful stay.
Everyone is very kind and very nice.
Every employee at the Bloomfield, MI location has been a pleasure to work with! They are always happy to see our dog come in and I feel my dog is safe and taken care of while he’s in their care! I would recommend Dogtopia to friends/family and coworkers.
Always treat my dogs like the were their own. They know them by name and great them, and us with s iOS!

My dog was supposed to be groomed and nails trimmed at the end of her stay- fairly certain she was not. Dogs fought here. No outside space

I like that Dogtopia takes into consideration the need to split up dogs by size and energy level. I observed a larger room for big dogs and a smaller open room for medium and toy dogs. My suggestions and questions are as follows:
1) Though toy dogs/puppies are smaller, their section is significantly smaller in comparison to the open play for larger dogs. Is there a way to expand this section a bit for more space/play, as there are also crates compromising the space in this section? There is also no attendant in this specific area with the toy dogs. Although they are small, they can still experience the same accidents and require discipline as medium-sized dogs during open play. Also, many of the toy dogs stare at the fence at the medium dogs in the open space. My next response/question refers to dog enrichment.
2) The attendants with the dogs work very hard, often very attentive to making sure that the area is cleaned after numerous ongoing dog potty breaks. With this in mind, how can the attendants also cater to indoor enrichment play while attending to tasks such as cleaning up, etc.? The answer might rest in how many attendants are permitted per room, so one or two are engaging in enrichment, and the other is cleaning, and they switch, etc. Just an observation since I was invited to share feedback. Thank you.
When I need to go out of town, I feel very comfortable leaving Sam with caretakers who will see to his well being as I would.

Love that the staff was so friendly! The environment looked really clean. The staff answered my questions and provided me with great feedback for my pooch. 10's across the board!
The kind and helpful staff and that they stay on top of the dogs so owners can feel about leaving them there. My dogs safety is the number one priority there.

How clean the facility is. I really like the webcam feature on the app so I can always check in on my dog.

The groomer we had was very nice. But… my 14 year olds ears were cut way too short. He will be fine but for future reference trimming a couple inches off is a tad extreme.
