Great team of very kind and experienced coaches
First and foremost, our dog loves it at Dogtopia! The staff is friendly, they take good care of the dogs and love them.
Very friendly and attentive
My dog is the critic and each morning she trots herself in there, eagerly talks to all of the staff members, and then trots herself through to her playroom. For me, that is the biggest praise there can be. I love that she comes relaxed and tired.

2. Clean, modern, well maintained facility.
3. Video of the pups. Are you having a bad day? Just peek in for a few minutes and you'll feel better.
4. Pups get lunches (for a small fee) and nap time.
5. Grooming and boarding services are available.
6. Daily health checks.
7. Drop off and pick up services out in front of the business.
8. Peanut gets crazy excited when we turn into the parking lot - a sure sign that he loves it.
9. He comes out after a day of play with a huge grin on his face and in a great mood!
10. He is calm in the evenings and sleeps through the night.
Kind staff, Piper feels excited and comfortable going, staff is helpful and communicative when I have questions, Piper comes home tired and I can tell she’s getting proper socialization. We love the webcams and love that they give them lunch and nap time in the middle of the day!

Caring and responsive Herndon Dogtopia management and team! They know all the dogs by name and you can tell they really care so much about your dog and making doggie daycare fun! Another plus are the webcams, where you can check in on your BFF during the play day. Dogtopia also offer a snack bar for your pet, photo dress up days and grooming services!
Friendly and informative staff, good pricing and videos in the rooms to check on the pups. I also like that there is quiet/lunch time for all dogs at the same time, as it can be a long day of playtime!
There is a strong odor that permeates even outside on the grounds that seems could be improved w/ a better air filter system. Dogs are allowed to lounge in corners for long periods, and upon pickup not as tired as pet parent expected w/ taking to get exercise and socialize

Staff is extremely friendly and overall my experience has been good. However, there’s a consistent theme of not following owner instructions or adhering to care requirements. There have been multiple occasions where I’ve sent my dog with several meals for extended daycare stays (early drop off and late pickup), and when I pick him up, they’ll sometimes say they simply forgot to feed him one of his meals. My dog has come home with injuries on more than one occasion, and my location frequently ignores my requests to not have my dog crated as it’s unsafe for him, yet they still do it. During overnight stays, I’ve left medications and greenies with him, only to find that the full amount I left him with is still there or barely used when I pick him up. My dog loves the staff and I genuinely enjoy them, however, lots of oversight on basic care requests. When my dog was injured during his last set of overnight stays, Dogtopia offered nothing in the way of goodwill gestures aside from moving him to a different room. I originally brought my dog just for the summer and was hoping to keep him year round with Dogtopia, but that will likely not be the case with these lapses in care.
