Having larger quarters for the big dogs to sleep in.
Amazing staff, made me feel so comfortable leaving my fur-child with them. I love all the services they offer and how open their communication is!
Everything ! Look at my review on Google
I love how you guys help out with so many dogs but it does seem like there are a lot of dogs in one space. I know you have multiple rooms, maybe have something outside for them too? I'm not complaining at all because you are taking care of all of our furbabies and we appreciate it so much!
You can feel the love they have for dogs the moment you walk in! Super attentive and knowledgeable about dog behaviour.
Great vibe. Kind staff. Happy Dogs. Clean facility
Friendly responsive knowledgeable sevices
The folks at Dogtopia are doing a great job helping my little guy get used to a new crew of people and pups! Thanks for your patience and support!
Love the coaches and the attention they give my pup
Staff is very friendly and clearly dog people! I love to see their interactions with my dog. The facility is always clean! And my dog is happy to come to day care. She just experienced spa day - and she looks and smells great. 👍🏻
Ashley and Michael are the best! Wellington my dog literally can’t wait to get in there to see them
Ability to drop in
Kind kids looking after our dog and on the front desk
Watching my dog online
The smell is a bit much sometimes but I am a dog owner so no big deal.
Tel you city counsellor that the noise factor reason for preventing you offering overnights is ridiculous.
Friendly staff
Well, cared after the dogs
Clean environment
Everyone is so friendly, facility is super clean!
The rooms are very clean and the staff is great with the dogs and their parents.
The friendly staff. My dog is always eager to get thru the door. If she’s happy I’m happy.
Organized, competent, caring employees.
Doggie play/ curbside and bath
The staff is super friendly and accommodating
I appreciate that you take a behaviorist approach to the care of animals in your charge and that your staff is well trained and oriented to caring for all the dogs.
Clean a bit better. My dog typically comes home smelling of pee and I need to bathe him at home.
I love Dogtopia, but to be clear, this is only about the Grooming appt last week.
My dog looks fine, but $165 is too expensive.
Our dog got very sick while under your care. We were still charged 345 dollars.
Love how friendly everyone was and how great they treated my puppy. I also loved the cameras, and the follow up via text while he was there! Made me feel good to know he was being well taken care of!
Had a greet and meet and everyone was nice and polite. Ask to have a nail clip for my dog and was told yes. I waited five minutes, and he was ready. Steven did an excellent job.
super friendly, lots of fun activities for our dog, great location, safe place for our dog to play!
friendly staff
Dogtopia Aurora is fantastic! I particular loved the customer service and felt at ease leaving Roxie there for the day. The facility is clean and fully equipped with essentials. We got a tour on the day of Meet and Greet and learned more about the mission of Dogtopia, how excisting!
Having the webcam to see your furbaby during the stay is even better! Definitely strongly recommend Dogtopia to anyone who is looking for a doggy daycare.
The employees that worked there.
While the Dogtopia staff were notably friendly and helpful (props to Matt the marketing guy, who was extra kind to my preschooler!) I was not impressed by the overall experience.
One of my two dogs, a 5 month old puppy, did not enjoy the large group and her fearful behavior was evident on the video screen in the lobby. Despite my having indicated before the Meet and Greet that I wanted to avoid flooding my pup during a fear period, the front office staff repeatedly discouraged me from removing her, and dragged their feet when I firmly requested that she be returned to me immediately. Given that my pup is generally outgoing and confident (as the staff verbally noted during the first part of our meet and greet), I had hoped that staff performing a temperament evaluation would be better trained in recognizing fearful behavior, or at least that the ‘canine coach’ in the room would respond in some way, as my puppy vacillated between hiding in a corner and trying to climb the humans’ legs with a tightly tucked tail. I observed several other dogs who also appeared distressed in the large group. At one point during my visit to Dogtopia a local dog trainer even came into the office to ask staff to intervene for a particularly overwhelmed dog who was visible through the outdoor windows, but she was unable to speak with staff before she needed to leave for an appointment.
Thankfully, my adult dog seemed happy and confident in group play, so I left him to play for a few hours after his 11:00 am Meet and Greet. When I returned for pickup at 3:30 pm the staff had turned over completely, which makes sense given the schedule. Unfortunately, the morning staff apparently did not note my dog’s appearance or mark a name on his temporary collar, so the front desk had to ask me to help them identify and locate my dog. Certainly mistakes can happen, but as first impressions go this was not confidence-inducing, and I was initially concerned they might have sent my dog home with someone else.
Once we’d found my dog, the staff was then unable to locate his leash or collar. Apparently these had also been misplaced and/or unlabeled, as the very apologetic staff only found them after I rang the collar’s AirTag several times to assist them in locating it by sound.
Overall, lovely staff but the systems/processes could use some work and I have significant concerns about the welfare of smaller or less confident dogs in this setting.
