Improve the smell of the l9bby. It smelled like dog urine. Do a better job of cleaning.
I boarded my dog for 3 days/2 nights and she loved it! She got to play and be social with other dogs. I liked that I got to see her on the camera and that she was primarily inside, so she did not overheat in this Texas weather. I also like that they are on turf grass when outside because it prevents my dog from getting excessively dirty during her stay. I also like the fact that the staff is very communicative and I’m able to text them and get an immediate response whether it’s me checking up on my dog or coordinating a last-minute time change for pick up!

Very friendly staff and can use webcam to check on my dog. I wish I didn’t have to fill out paperwork every time I drop him off for an overnight stay. Still, very good service and trust staff with my dog.
My dog had an awful odor that smelled like urine after picking him up from daycare. The smell is intense even when walking into the lobby. I found out after the fact that you have no where to let the dogs out to urinate so they relieve themselves in the same area they sleep & play in. I will say that the staff member offered to “spray” him when I picked up the second day & it was slightly better. The staff in general were very nice. However, the odor situation is unacceptable to me & I won’t be bringing him back.

Booking online and dropoff are extremely easy! Every now and then I’m asked to fill out all my emergency contact info again, which seems like it could be kept on file, but other than that it is very efficient!
From the courteous and kind staff and the 6am drop off greetings at the door to welcome my puppy, my wife and oncoming be more happier with Dogtopia at Canton!
We would watch Ellie on the Toy Box camera and see how she is interacting with other small dogs and how the caring staff tending to them!
We live in Harford County and work in Baltimore City so having Dogtopia in Canton care for our fur baby while we work is simply comforting for us knowing she is having fun interacting with our pups and having such a great staff to care for her!
Always so friendly and I know Gigi is in good hands when I leave her for a day to play or even for boarding.
Previous use.
I feel my dog have anxiety issues. This was his first boarding for an extended period (week). The managers were aware of the concern and basically assured us that he would come out of shell 2nd to 3rd day and he never did. I can't hold them responsible for my dog's actions.
The Webcam was out of view from wherever he was located. Snuggled in a corner or crate, that I only saw him around 8 thirtyish crated each morning and that was it and I may have caught seeing him twice when being crated around 5:45 pm.
Not that my dog should have been catered to, but at no time did I see the coaches supporting my dog's anxiety in anyway. No additional interaction outside of feeding, relieving or crating. No trying to leash him and walking a trip or two around the playroom for even a little exercise. He literally was too himself lying around all day for 6 days.
I did reach out to one of the managers and I trust when she mentioned that she did spend some quality time with him, a couple or a few days, seeing his condition.
So personally I can never have my dog return to Dogtopia. My husband and I was very concerned and disturbed seeing our dog just lying in his crate for hours with no attempt to get him moving that we were able to capture from around an 8:30 - noon time frame. This absolutely blew our minds.
I would not recommend anyone with dog issues like anxiety. I hope this experience will be the last for a good while with our dog.
I hate saying but paying a little extra somewhere else may be beneficial, if there's a next time.
I truly do appreciate all Carolyn's support and everything she did to make our dogs stay as comfortable as possible when she could, but overall disappointed in the coaches and full support from all management.
I will make note that the facility is kept very clean and the air quality was impressive.
Staff and dog groomer
Staff were friendly; they explained the services thoroughly.
I absolutely love this place. I had a bad experience at another kennel so I was a bit on edge. I brought my Wrigley in and at first he was a little scared but he warmed up almost immediately! He began wagging his tail and seemed very happy, he went in and did a meet and greet. I thought he would be better with the bigger dogs but that didn’t work so well. So they tried the toy box and it was like he had been going there for months! He loves to go, wants to go when I ask him! This was the best choice I could have made for my fur babies!

Best hands on service from greeting at drop off to farewell at pickup
Very efficient to use the app and the team addressed my technical problems in a very timely manner. They were great with my pup and he really enjoyed himself. I’m sure he will be excited to go back. I want to eventually get him enrolled in the training they offer as well. And I recommend them to any dog parent.
Beyond friendly staff and I have no concerns about the safety and wellbeing of my pup, she has so much fun when she’s there!

Love this place, they always do a good job on our puppy’s grooming
All 3 dogs were scheduled for grooming very quickly. Goldens had full grooms that were nicely done and my lab mix had a bath and smells great. Curbside drop off and pickup is super helpful!
