The employees all love dogs, they are well trained, and the facility is very clean.

Professionalism and care for my dog.
We know Finn can be quite a handful with his puppy energy...we are trying to work with him, and it is just nice to know that we can drop him off while we at work and know he is having a fun day playing with his other pals.

We've been with Dogtopia Oakbrook since 2021. First my old man Mr. Muggsy who loved a few of the front desk people to pieces and loved his canine coaches that would sit with him on the floor and cuddle with him as well as the groomer at that time. Muggsy definitely was my little wall flower that wanted the attention to come to him, mostly human that is. Now Petey, when he was a puppy I couldn't watch because he was so full of energy playing so hard. Now that he's settled down a bit I love watching him hover around the other trouble makers in the room, chasing after his canine coaches jumping and clawing them for attention, climbing on the play equipment, getting his zoomies in every now and then. We love the larger rooms at this location and of course both of my boys have loved the treat days, themed photo days, and themed craft days. We think the new management is amazing.
My suggestion to any first timers is don't make a decision based on one day of watching your dog. This is the problem with places that have webcams. Normally there are different coaches in the am and pm and each has their particular ways. Each dog may do better with different coaches and different styles. Muggsy craved human affection so did better with those coaches willing to seek him out in the corner or by the wall and sit with him. Petey does great either way. He won't say no to a coach giving cuddles but loves to walk around and play with his fur-friends too.
The only cons I have is that I wish their outdoor area was more accessible so they could rotate rooms of dogs in and out throughout the day. It would be nice if they were open one of the weekend days especially if you are considering boarding your dog it's always nice to have that extra day to be able to peek in on your pup. When I did a walk through of the building their suite space is limited at this location in my opinion.
The staff is so amazing with my Brandy girl. She always comes home so tired and so happy. When I ask her in the morning if she wants to go play, she already knows where she’s going and that she’s going to have the best time. The grooming staff is also so amazing with her, I’ve tried bathing her myself and god bless the Dogtopia groomers for getting her right and beautiful every time!
We have been with Dogtopia since they opened in Orland Park and our dog Teddy love going there. He run to the door and cries in the lobby wanting to go into see his friends. It is a great place for your furbaby to meet friends.
All of the employees are extremely friendly & professional. The facility is very clean & well managed. My dog loves going to day care there!
The staff is wonderful. Very accommodating. They all love dogs and they keep it clean. No bad odors! My dogs can't wait to go to daycare.

We got two big boys giants if you will. Haha we love that there are two large rooms they can be in. Gives them the much needed time away from each other. While still getting to play with others.
Gives my Golden Retriever a fun place to play with other dogs
I love taking my dog there (she’s currently recovering from surgery). The last couple of times she went, she came home with an eye infection and some diarrhea. The only common factor in recurrence was a recent playdate at dogtopia, so a deep clean may be in order. I also love their in-house grooming services.
