I always feel confident that my dog will be safe.
The staff at our Dogtopia are really amazing. They love my dog and he loves them. He comes home happy and exhausted. He gets so excited when I pull out his overnight bag. I love the webcams. It's so nice to see how he's doing. My favorite moment was watching one of the staff members cuddling a few of the pups. I feel completely comfortable leaving him, even for long stays.
The pups really enjoy themselves and loves the staff. They are so tired after playing all day they come home and just relax. When we picked them up they have been wiped down and ready for the ride home. Thank you again for your services.
Very friendly and professional
Attention to all the dogs. Personable staff.
I love how friendly everyone is, and I wish there were more staff in the rooms to play with the pups more when time allows.
We love how excited our dog gets when we pull into Dogtopia. And how happy all of the workers are to see her. And that we can get her grooming while she’s there. It’s the best!
Flexible schedule, great staff! Very convenient!
Daily daycare and the friendly customer service.
Flexible hours, play and spa means exercise and relaxing bath to come home clean, and the fact that Abbie loves to go there!
They are so kind , patient and got my dog in for a bath the day before Imade the apt at the last minute. 10/10
My dog is excited to "play with the puppies" as we call it in our household. The staff at my Fort Collins Dogtopia genuinely love animals, and they work to provide a safe and fun environment for my dog, Hank. I've looked at other daycares that don't separate dogs by play-style, and where there are few people keeping an eye on a room full of dogs. That's a recipe for disaster, I think. I also appreciate the monthly bath/nail trim that comes with my subscription!
My dog gets the exercise he needs, he’s made so many friends, and there’s always something special going on, whether it is a craft or pool party or a special treat. The employees love on him like he’s their own. I’ll watch on the webcam and the employees are attentive and loving to all the dogs.
Love the staff and how clean the facility is!!
Everyone has been so welcoming and my dog has enjoyed their experience
Facility and people who work there
I love that they interact with my dog and make her and us feel special. Other places don’t dote on her.
Our puppy's meet-and-greet went very well. He even stayed a few extra hours, and we were really pleased with how everything went. Based on that positive experience, we felt comfortable bringing him back for a full day during the 3-for-1 special.
After his full-day visit, I learned that he had spent a good portion of the day in a crate. When I called from work to ask about it, I was told that he had been crated because he was trying to get the other dogs to play and was annoying them.
When we first started this process, I was very upfront that he is a puppy who wasn't quite six months old. I explained that one of the main reasons we wanted daycare was to help him socialize and learn how to read other dogs' social cues. He's friendly, loves both people and other dogs, but he's still learning appropriate interactions.
I was told, "He will learn," but I'm having a difficult time understanding how he's supposed to learn those social skills if he's spending much of the day in a crate. I completely understand that an energetic puppy can be a lot, and I respect that the other dogs are there to have a positive experience as well. At the same time, I expected there would be other ways to manage and redirect his behavior while still giving him opportunities to learn.
If the solution is for him to spend much of the day crated, then I'm not sure daycare is accomplishing what we enrolled him for. I can certainly crate him at home. My expectation was that daycare would provide a supervised environment where he could play, socialize, and gradually learn appropriate interactions with other dogs.
I'm not writing this to complain for the sake of complaining. I genuinely want to understand your approach with puppies his age. Is this the typical process for young dogs who are still learning, or are there other methods you use to help them develop those social skills?
The staff is amazing!
everything! caring know your dog. friendly, keep you informed . love the holiday special gifts! they work to get to know your fog!
Very friendly staff!
Benson seems to enjoy playing with the other dogs!
He does come home every time with a scraped nose which I’m guessing is from the crate. I don’t know if this is because he’s in it while others are playing or what…he is crates at home at night.
He loves being outside so I wish there was outside play time!!
The flexibility to bring our dog in on our schedule. The kind staff members. They care about dogs. Our dog gets great treats. The opportunity to donate to worthy causes that Dogtopia is affiliated with. The secure feeling of leaving our dog at Dogtopia. He gets great exercise and is socializing with other dogs too. There is a lot to like about Dogtopia of Woodbridge Virginia.
Friendly staff. Fun games. Very clean and safe. And they donate to different foundations.
