Personal attention for our Patton who we love so much...we had another groomer that pushed to get her hair cut done quickly and unfortunately didn't notice a couple of growths on her tail and actually cut into her tail skin...this brought us to the Vet and she had to wear the cone for two weeks until the cuts healed. Dogtopia's groomers are very well trained and the attention to detail was evident from the start. We are so happy with the excellent red carpet treatment our Patton gets with Dogtopia!
I truly enjoy bringing my dog to Dogtopia, and he loves it too! I have been bringing him there for four years. However, I can’t take him right after he’s been groomed or washed because he often smells really bad from running through urine. Additionally, I've noticed that the facility has a strong urine odor in the evenings. While I’ve seen staff clean up after the dogs, I worry that the water they use may not be sufficiently sanitized, and I’m concerned about the potential impact this could have on my dog’s health and that of the other dogs.
So far, so good. I cannot give a higher recommendation until I have used the service a few more times.
I just have to drop penny off and know that she is going to have a good time. With our 8month old taking most of our time Dogtopia of Hillsboro opened up at exactly the right time for us! She always comes home tuckered and happy which is what we were looking for from the experience!
It's a great place! So happy I started taking my boy Bubba there! He's made friends, give me a chance to be away from him without feeling guilty that he's home alone, I know he's safe, and he comes home totally exhausted from playing!
Clean, cool facility where my dog can be free and play with other dogs
My dog LOVES to go to Dogtopia and that's the most important part of the experience! The staff is friendly and welcoming and they seem to love my dog too and I appreciate that so much! Some days it's nice to have a break from our very high energy Boston Terrier and I'm so happy that she loves going to Dogtopia and I know she's well cared for when she's there!

The strong smell upon entering is extremely strong and overwhelming. My dog begins sneezing immediately which worries me about her being there long periods of time.

Schatzie always is ready to go see her 'friends' but when she gets there doesn't really engage with the other dogs. stands around overwhelmed.
Staff are friendly and Sophie loves it there.

The staff was very kind and caring and very thorough. We have a skittish giant schnauzer but the groomer was great with her. She even called to clarify instructions for the way we wanted her ears groomed. We will definitely be back

Excellent staff. Love the snacks , love the midday break to give my dog time to recharge. My dog is normally very hesitant to be dropped off anywhere… but she actually runs into this facility excited. The staff make her feel welcome and secure. Highly recommend.
