I’m sad — used to think the dogs felt loved and happy but this last visit felt different. Repeatedly saw specific dogs humping ours and then ours would end up in a crate while the perpetual humper looked for other prey. I’ve never watched the camera and seen the person in the room being friendly or positively engaged. And one of our dogs, whose Bordatella was still active, ended up with kennel cough a few days later. She goes to the bathroom in our back yard and is not around other dogs other than at Dogtopia. Not looking for any freebies and don’t want to drag Dogtopia publicly, but we’ve already decided to use Rover next time. On the bright side, administratively the process was quick and easy and we love having access to cameras.
Dog was clearly not taken care of during an overnight. Blanket was soaked in pee and he came home with a massive cut on his nose. This was weeks ago and it’s still not fully healed. Zero calls from staff when it happened to inform us. Really disappointed in new management
Great staff!
The staff are genuinely fellow members of the Ghent community and fellow dog lovers. It has been moving to see their team grow and evolve in their first year of business. It's not an easy thing to do. And I feel my family and our pup grow and evolve along with the GHENTDogtioia staff, too. Highly recommend! I cannot imagine how complex it is to bring together such varying experience levels and backgrounds--the level of patience and understanding the staff have for each other, every unique dog personality and their fellow owner/family. I know us dog moms and dads can be weirdos and demanding 😅. So, my husband and I feel so thankful to have a safe place my dog can go while I am at work. And it doesn't hurt to 'stalk' my dog on the webcam. Marissa is Cloud's favorite--she has an exceptional level of dog training and working with dog behaviorists. And it's nice to know management has been supportive of initiatives she can facilitate.
The facilities seem a bit sterile in the aesthetic...not very homey. I notice the trainers don't sit much and I know my dog likes to cuddle with humans. That would be a nice improvement. Otherwise, very happy and have recommended this spot to many dog parents.
The staff is always very friendly to both me and my dog. She must be having a great time when she is there because she comes home exhausted! I am very happy I found a trustworthy place to care for my girl on days that I can't, and it's so conveniently located to my home.

The staff are very professional and friendly. Our dog enjoys the staff as much as being with the other dogs. The facility is new and clean. The online portal is very convenient.
Staff is extra nice , open 7 days a week has bath and grooming in the facility and very affordable.
Friendly staff
Brooklyn loves Dogtopia. She is one of the original pups at the Arlington Heights site. She will happily jump out of the car to one of the trainers. Brooklyn can’t get inside fast enough.😊 She loves to play all day with her friends and enjoys the special treat days. After she has played all day she jumps back into the car and is exhausted. A good dog is a tired dog.
Ross and his trainers have a wonderful thing going here.

We love this daycare. We love that Katy has taken the time to make dutch welcome. She always has well trained staff and I love the events that she does to keep both myself and the pup.
The people at Dogtopia are always excited and helpful when we bring our dog in for daycare and boarding. They are truly dog people and make it a fun and entertaining experience for my pets.
Theo gets so excited and runs to the door to play with his friends. Everyone is so kind and I love watching him play on the cameras.
The attentiveness of the staff is great. I love how they stay on top of cleaning. The staff and owner always listen to my concerns and take my dogs care seriously. I always feel like my dogs safety is a priority.
My dog is the happiest here I’ve seen her. I love it !

The care and love shown to the doggies by the staff and how they get to know them. Also having an indoor place for them to play in this heat is really great. All the fun activities are great too.

The manager is never available. My dog was sent home with the wrong collar and leash. He has now come home without 2 of his blankets and he was not given his medication during one of his stays. I will never bring him back to this neglectful location.
Dogtopia is amazing! Our dog Diamond loves going there on Saturdays. She loves the staff. I think she loves the staff more than the other dogs. Lol. I like that you can see her on camera. Whenever I take a peek she is always following the staff member around. As soon as we drive down the street her tail starts going and she gets excited because she knows she is going to Dogtopia.
