The Bel Air Dogtopia is First Class. From the facility, to the employees, my dog gets cared for as if he was their own. I highly recommend Dogtopia.
Great people who care
So far, we’ve had a really excellent experience with Dogtopia Port Chester. Everyone is incredibly friendly, and our puppy Willow is always excited to go—she never even looks back when we drop her off!
We’ve done several daycare days as well as spa services, and we love how convenient and flexible the scheduling is. Willow also recently stayed for her first overnight visit (five nights), and overall everything went great. The staff were very responsive when we emailed to check in, and I especially love the webcam feature—it was so reassuring to be able to see her.
Our only concern was that when we picked Willow up, we noticed she had a sore on her nose. A staff member explained that “kennel nose” can happen from rubbing against the crate, which we understand. However, we don’t crate Willow at home (though she has successfully slept in a crate overnight), and we would have appreciated being notified when this was happening. Had we known, we would have opted for a non-crate option during her stay.
Aside from that, we’ve been very happy with our local Dogtopia and appreciate how caring and attentive the team is overall.

I love everything about Dogtopia. The dogs are always so excited when we pull up...they love it there. I like all the people that work there. So friendly and you feel like they really care about your furbabies. Hours are great and the activities keep the dogs busy. Its always a peaceful night at home once they've been at daycare all day.

Love the security if seeing our baby playing and the warm welcome he gets each time we bring him.
There is no disappointment.There's just some things that were not answered.And not clear, but we could have did a better job asking those questions. It's just been very busy with the holidays
Our dog was attacked by another dog. She was bitten and scratched, and we weren’t informed until we picked her up a few hours later. We were charged for a full day of daycare after she was attacked in the few hours we were visiting.
I understand that unexpected things happen, but it feels decidedly crappy to pay for my dog to be attacked.
Sweet and caring staff, fun events
Storm has been attending daycare at Dogtopia Alamo Heights since it opened. We used to love this place. We took a short hiatus during the government shutdown and Storm recently attended daycare again. Throughout the day, every time I checked the cameras, she was kenneled. I figured, no biggie, maybe they rotate dogs and she needed some down time. However, when I picked Storm up from daycare that day, she smelled strongly of urine. Initially, I brushed it off and drove home. The entire car ride home smelled of urine and when we got home, anytime she walked past me, I could smell urine. My concern is that either 1. she did spend most of the time in the kennel that day and had an accident, 2. the daycare floor is not as clean as they used to be and she smelled of urine either from walking or rolling in it or 3. a dog peed on her. Any of those reasons is unacceptable. Dogtopia has watched Storm countless of times but only recently have we had complaints. I have seen many of managers come and go, along with staff. I figured the change of staff would improve the facility but I've been disappointed. Prior to our pause in late September I had considered ending daycare after noticing Storm being kenneled more. This urine event may be the final nail in ending our daycare experience at Dogtopia.
The staff is very friendly! Dan is awesome he educates you on everything and take care of your fur baby as you would. We’re so excited to be here. I highly recommend Dogtopia!!!!

Staff is courteous, friendly, helpful and sweet to my dog. They also provide spa services which are incredibly helpful to me. The hours and location are great.
Staff is excellent but I wish there was more for the dogs to do or play with other than walking around.

We love the staff at Dogtopia Westmont. Brandon and his team are amazing. Our pup loves daycare and sleepovers. From the moment we drop our dog off, we feel completely at ease. The staff is incredibly kind, professional, and clearly loves what they do. Our dog always comes home happy, relaxed, and well cared for. Communication is always great, We wouldn’t trust anyone else—highly recommend!
The staff is amazing
Not gonna lie, you guys have an employee named Caitlyn who is kind of a word I can’t say with out sounding mean. She kind of interjected herself into a situation at the counter. Made assumptions about what was going on, had a patronizing attitude and when I pointed that out to her she. Apologized for the “miscommunication”. No it wasn’t a miscommunication it was you misunderstanding because you were jumping into things without asking any clarifying question to understand what’s going on. This was after she sat in the office area for several minutes as customers started to pile up in the lobby. I just hope she’s not a manager.
Everyone is friendly and they all know and love my pup. Very responsive. Pup is always happy to be dropped off.
