The staff is knowledgable and friendly. There are many services available. Mostly, I love how happy and excited my dog is when I take her in. That says it all :)

We love Dogtopia of La Grange! Customer since 2020ish!
They helped to bring out the best in my senior Pug Muggsy even though he had some health issues in his older years. Whether it was napping on a comfy lounger, hanging out against the wall with his other buddies, climbing on play equipment, venturing out in to the middle of the playroom, or getting cuddles from the humans in the room, it was clear he was well taken care of. Muggsy attended daycare and was boarded. Might have also received a bath once or twice.
Petey absolutely loses it when we are getting closer as if he memorizes all the twists and turns to get there. He clearly loves his furriends and human caretakers at this location and has also been boarded here. I like that much of the staff has remained the same and consistent throughout the years. Love their creative event days. Love that they rotate dogs to the outdoor area throughout the day when weather permits. Price range is pretty fair and they offer packages and memberships to lower the rate a bit for dogs that attend more frequently. They are very attentive as well. I know they noticed a growth on Petey before I did when he was puppy which tells me they are clearly paying attention. The room coaches provide a decent amount of attention to all the dogs in the rooms here as well.
Only downside would be the commute in the La Grange area may take longer due to heavier traffic, the train, and road construction.

Cleanliness
Since Trisha (manager) has left there seems to be no organization. Only one person is working at heavy traffic times which creates long wait times. I have seen more than 5 people waiting at pickup. The employees do their best but it has to be overwhelming, and it creates a more transactional experience. What I enjoyed most about dogtopia is the employees and the time they spent understanding and learning me and my dog. Now there is a new employee everyday that has no time to build connections, the only recognizable face is Brooklyn, who is amazing. It's been over two month without leadership for the team and it is obvious, not only with the team but also the upkeep of the space. The smell is worse than ever, there are holes on the walls and there is never signup sheets for grooming or snacks. For the first time this week, in my two years going and loving dogtopia I questioned if I should still use this service.

Very chaotic and unprofessional pick up and drop off practice.
I was told my dog did great during boarding, and that he acclimated fine. I paid extra for a suite for him so he would not be crated. When I picked him up he had sores all over his face, the attendant told me it was “crate rub” and brushed it off as nothing. I was never told about it beforehand, he never should have been trapped in a crate where he rubbed his face raw to the point of sores in the first place. I won’t ever come back.
The staff is very attentive and knowledgeable. They take immense care of every pet that walks through the door and communicate effectively to insure animal welfare and establish a sound client/pet relationship. My dog is a pickle, Tuna Marie is a Great Pyrenees and her personality is wavering sometimes. They care about her safety and I trust dogtopia to care for her and teach her appropriately. The facility is clean, never smells when I’ve gone in and I recommend this company to my clients often.

We absolutely love our Dogtopia family. Most importantly, Tucker does, and that's the biggest endorsement I could ever give. The moment we pull into the parking lot, he's excited to get inside and see everyone.
The team has been so kind, caring, and genuinely invested in him. It's obvious they don't just watch the dogs—they really get to know them and truly care about them. As a dog parent, that kind of peace of mind is priceless.
I also love all of the fun themed days and activities they put together, like Cheese Day, photo days, Santa pictures, and all of the little celebrations throughout the year. They make daycare feel like so much more than just a place to spend the day—it feels like a community.
