Extremely caring and caring of my little furry baby
Some staff members in the front seem like they’d rather not work there- not excited to see dogs- poor interaction. Was worried dropping my dog off there for the first time
Knowing that my dog is having fun with others. I especially like the perk that I can look online and see what he’s doing anytime I want. That’s a big comfort.
Dogtopia of Chester Springs - My dog was recently boarded there for the week we were on vacation. She had lots of play time and some scheduled personal time as well. The staff is very caring and attentive. I even received photos of Stella during her personal time and they answered any of my questions quickly. I also scheduled a bath for her on the last day and she was nice and clean and fluffy when I picked her back up.
She goes there weekly for 1 day of play time and that helps when she needs to stay for any longer as she's very familiar with the staff and the surroundings.
It had been a few years since I last left my two small dogs with Dogtopia, and unfortunately, this experience was very disappointing.
When I made the reservation, the person I spoke with did not remind me that the dogs would be kept in crates at night or tell me that I needed to provide their food and bedding. That affected the first part of our trip, as we had to make additional trips to Dogtopia to deliver food and blankets.
When I called to check on my two dogs, I was breezily told that “the old guys are sticking together and not engaging with the other dogs.” When I asked whether staff were making an effort to engage with them, I was told no. That was troubling to hear, particularly when they were staying there for five days. Most concerning, both dogs came home with severe, explosive diarrhea. Since they had both just spent four and a half days at the kennel, it was reasonable to believe they were exposed while there. We should have been clearly told what we needed to provide, given more thoughtful information about how our dogs were doing (and the dogs should have gotten human interaction, given it sounds like they were not happy). And given that both became ill immediately after their stay, provided with any relevant information about illness at the facility. VERY disappointed.
1. Your pricing is a bit high and not that competitive with the other offerings in the area. At $30 per dog per day, I could justify sending them a couple of times a week throughout the month. Since the annual plans kicked in a few years ago and the pricing has skyrocketed, it's hard to make the numbers make sense. For two dogs, one day a week would cost me $368/mo (worst) to $320/mo (best), so I've transitioned mostly to using your services only when I don't have any other scheduling options. For comparison, Dog Services and Barkability are roughly half the cost, and holiday barn is approximately 75% the cost. Don't get me wrong, I like your services and staff, but the only two differences I can tell are the Camera access and you open 30 minutes earlier.
2. My dog always comes back smelling funky. I assume it's the mop water used on the floor, he likes to lay around a LOT. I appreciate the attempts at perfume/deodorizing him when he's returned, but he still smells like a bus station bathroom when the perfume fades.

We absolutely LOVE Dogtopia! 🐾❤️ Bailey is always so excited when he realizes where we’re going, which says everything to us! The staff is always so friendly, caring, and welcoming, and you can tell they genuinely love the dogs they care for.
It gives us such peace of mind knowing Bailey is somewhere safe, having fun, getting lots of attention, and being so well taken care of while he’s there. We never have to worry about him, and that means so much to us.
We’re so thankful we found Dogtopia and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to anyone looking for a place they can truly trust with their fur baby. Bailey gives it two paws up—and so do we! 🐶🐾❤️

All of the sudden staff couldn't control a dog who was very controllable the year prior. I paid over $500 to have my dog isolated because of safety issues. (no description of aggressive behavior, just mounting) Kiba is over 6 years old and is a very well trained dog even to the point of him only eating if he gets a command. It appears whoever was in charge of him lacked the experience or confidence to keep him under control. Dogs can read that, and will act accordingly. My dog was blamed. Then they told me they cannot accept him any more because of safety concerns. All while they were sending me pictures and updates on how much fun he was having. And also trying to sell me grooming to make even more money off of me. This franchise is a joke. I am very dissatisfied and disappointed.

I really wish you guys would have a package so I don't have to send my dogs twice a week or else I lose my money. If I could buy a "punch card" with 10 or 20 days and pay upfront, that would decrease the stress in knowing I HAVE to send my dogs twice a week or I lose my money. There are also some weeks when I want to send them 3+ days. So, the way you have it now is not ideal

Saturday 08/15, dropped off my pup right at 10am. I was monitoring through the camera system and did not see him in the Toybox for a solid 1-1.5 hrs. The toybox did not even appear setup for playing. I called at approximately 11:30am to understand where my pup is (ie. why isn’t he playing or out and about). Then receptionist placed us on hold. After a few minutes the reception asked “Can you see him now?”. He was now visible and wagging his tail in the toybox with a dogtopia rep. After a yes response immediately hung up abruptly.
It’s very easy to schedule day care and/or spa services. The staff is excellent and very knowledgeable. I feel comfortable leaving my dogs at Dogtopia and would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone who may need their services.
Love I can drop off Koda and know he’s having a great time with no worries.
I can’t say enough great things about Dogtopia! What really sets them apart is how much they genuinely care about the dogs. It’s so much more than just a place to drop your dog off for the day—they make it fun and special for them.
They do the cutest activities, from crafts to themed photo shoots, and I absolutely love seeing what Teddy has been up to while he’s there. You can tell the staff truly enjoys the dogs and puts so much effort into making their days fun.
And the ultimate proof that Teddy has had a GREAT day? He comes home completely exhausted and practically sleeps the entire next day! 😂 A tired dog is a happy dog!
Knowing Teddy is somewhere he’s loved, entertained, socializing, and being well cared for gives me such peace of mind. If you’re considering doggy daycare, I highly recommend giving Dogtopia a try. Teddy definitely gives it two paws up! 🐾❤️
Everything the staff, the environment for the dogs is age and clean.
The staff is very caring. My dog has been going to Dogtopia Clarksville for 14 years. We always feel confident that our Sophie gets lots of attention.
The workers are friendly and genuinely seem to love everyone's dogs. My only concern is while watching the videos, a Boston Terrier was running around trying to get dogs to chase him, the morning worker was cool with that. The afternoon worker kept spraying him/her with the water sprayer. I am bringing my dogs here to socialize and play. All the dogs just seem to follow the person in the room and not play. I used to take my dogs to Camp Run A Mutt before it closed down due to COVID. They ran, played in the swimming pools, climbed on all the agility/dog toys and only got sprayed with water if they bunched up in a pack that could potentially lead to fighting.
Consistent, reliable, friendly
They greet my dog at the door with a warm welcome and she’s always excited to see everyone. I’ve never had an issue with any bite marks or problems from other dogs. It’s a very nice environment
The staff are very caring and show attention to our dog Tofu. Tofu loves going there.
The cameras are wonderful - to get to check in on her during the day and see how she is doing reassures me that she is enjoying herself. All of the staff have been extremely friendly, helpful, and responsive. I haven't yet taken advantage of it yet, though the onsite grooming services are also very convenient (esp for a quick nail trim!)
