Gidget goes in happily there. They take good care of her. They actually seem to love dogs, it’s not just a job.
Friendly Staff, my Dog Otis loves it!
The employees are super attentive, remember my dogs name and have had great communication. My dog got sick during her daycare time and they promptly called me concerned for her well being. She ended up being fine after some rest. I appreciated that so much!
The staff is very friendly and my dog enjoys going to daycare.
Great staff, everyone is so friendly and knowledgeable about dogs
All of the staff is so friendly and love my dog! My dog loves to go to Dogtopia twice a week!
He also has gotten groomed there and stayed overnight. They are the best!
We love it there! Our baby girl is so happy and the staff takes great care of her!
This is the first time we have used a doggie daycare and we are so impressed with your Farragut facility and staff. Our sweet Riley gets so excited when we turn into your parking lot. We look forward to using your spa and boarding services in the future.
Clean facilities, friendly staff
My dog has a lot of energy and going to Dogtopia twice a week really helps him and my family. We like knowing that while we’re at work, he is able to play with other dogs. The staff is also very friendly and helpful.
The staff is super friendly and the programming is fun and creative
We love this place! The staff are like our second family!
the people who work at Dogtopia are amazing with my pup and truly care about her heath and safety!!
friendly and professional.
The staff is attentive and appreciates the unique personality and needs of each pup.
Friendly kind my puppies are excited to go
Dogtopia is the best place ever! All of the staff are extremely friendly and helpful and love all the dogs! I love being able to check in on my dog on the cameras and know that he is in safe hands when I leave him.
The smell is pretty bad. My dog smells like urine every time I’ve dropped him off. He goes to 2 other doggie daycares, and he doesn’t come out smelling like urine. I use Dogtopia because of my work commute but if another daycare opens closer to work, then I’ll try them out. It speaks volumes on sanitary practices in the facility to me.
Better cleaning practices instead of just using a mop.
The people!!! My goodness, I am a first time dog owner, and therefore doggie daycare & boarding newbie and the staff made me feel so at ease. I felt like they actually cared about my puppy when I had no choice but to put him somewhere a few days and a night. And having the webcam and the texts soooooo put me at ease.
Next time I'm back home visiting my fam and bring my pooch, he will be coming back for some socialization and any boarding needs, no second guessing. Thank you!
Staff is amazing! All the front desk staff are really nice, and the trainers are very patient with dogs and really bond with them.
Friendly staff and flexible scheduling for daycare and boarding !
Dogtopia has the friendliest staff and are so welcoming to our pup. They are the best doggy daycare in the South Bay!
My regular dog sitter had to cancel me at the last minute. They were able to get me in with my 2 dogs. This was the first time they have been boarded at a facility. I liked that I could watch them on the webcams which I did- A LOT! They communicated with me how they were doing and gave lots of tummy rubs which my dogs love.
The personal care provided to each dog. That I can watch my little girl on the camera, it calms me when I see she is okay while staying for extended stays while I am out of town. Honestly I think I get separation anxiety from her lol!
The staff are very friendly and seem to really like what they do. My dogs enjoy going and love the outdoor space.
Mack and the whole staff are like family and treat our guy like their favorite dog. Couldn’t recommend more!
Ease of booking appointments. The ability to see my puppy throughout the day while he's in daycare. The fact that there is always a human present in the room, just in case. Everyone is so friendly. Most of all, my dog absolutely loves coming to daycare.
The staff is great! The are very helpful and always greet my dog warmly. My dog loves going to Dogtopia!
Our dog loves it there! So that's great. Staff is wonderful with my dog. I think policies should be more open and responsive to folks from marginalized communities and/or lower income, though! I inquired about maybe sending my dog twice a week if they were able to lower cost per visit a bit because I was struggling financially (ultimately this would be generating more profit for Dogtopia overall from me) but it was denied pretty fast, and also had a bit too much back and forth about canceling an appointment due to weather. While it makes sense to have similar rules for everyone, it ALSO makes sense to be flexible and responsive to your clients' individual situations and needs. Especially during these economic and political times (we are a transgender family and statistically WAY less likely to have the same resources and assistance, as well as support system for tasks like dog care... as cis folks), being adaptable and diversity-conscious is really important. Because of the lack of flexibility, we have refrained from recommending the place to our broader community (which again could generate more profit and community for your business). Just some things to consider! When you adapt and treat your regulars well and extend kind gestures, discounts, etc when they need it the most, it spreads far beyond just the initial good deed and comes back to benefit you too. I also have general concerns about the number of dogs versus trainers. I think adding a trainer in each room, with the large dog numbers you've had lately, or reducing your max limit of dogs, would make a huge difference for other folks thinking of using you. Hope this review is helpful :-)

I have talked to two different receptionist about my concerns on the toybox room.
While I really like the structure of activities and the rubber in the rooms at Dogtopia, I have some concerns about the toybox room.
1. It is the smallest room in the facility yet I have seen up to 12-14 small-medium dogs crammed in that room, including my dog since he is a medium breed.
Just because dogs are small doesn't mean they don't require or wouldn't benefit from more space for exercise. Also, having so many dogs in the smallest room can be very overwhelming for some.
2. As a commitment to our dogs overall health and wellness, how often do you guys evaluate behaviour in the rooms and make decisions or suggestions to move a dog from one room to another?
3. I understand there are different dog personalities and while some thrive in toybox I don't think others do. Most of the time when I check the cameras, my dog is usually on a corner or the middle of the room doing nothing and he might just be overwhelmed.
4. I know you guys have activities every now and then, but what skills in specific do you focus on to teach the dogs under your care?
I haven't heard back from dogtopias behavior coach to assess if my dog would thrive in a more spacious and new environment such as the gym room.
