I'm giving a 9 rating, because my service rep was great about keeping me informed about my repairs.
The negative part of the experience was how long the repair took. The RV was in the shop for over a month for minor repairs. First parts took a while & then the repair was delayed again waiting for techs to finish winterizing the retails units in the yard. I really had to scramble to get my unit winterized.
The team especially Justin Sasman went above and beyond to get our coach back on the road.
The service department was exceptional with taking care of our needs and request.

Everybody was great and freindly and easy to deal with. Just wish I would of got more for my trade in.
They were/are responsive, complete, and knowledgeable. They *listened* to us and did not pressure us into extras. They worked with us and we were left feeling that we got a good deal and were treated well.

This is our 2nd RV purchase from General RV, Don and the team did an excellent job from start to finish. We experienced some air travel with a cancelled flight and had to rebook our flight. We truly appreciate the curbside pick up at the Flint airport by Don. Dan explained everything well and we had a full walk around with one of your service Tech's, apologies on forgetting his name.
Our experience did not start well. The Brinkley we ordered did not come delivered with the right 5th wheel hitch and the Platinum protection coating (exterior/interior) was questionable if it was done right. Additionally when we went to sign all of our documents my wife's name was spelt wrong on all the paperwork. Not a big deal but upsetting as we had been at the dealership for quite some time (in total 6+ hours). FYI, Cheyne Henry took care of this very quickly (great representative for General RV). With that all being said Brett Morcom, Erica and the Elizabeth PA team jumped in to fix everything. My wife and I can not say enough great thing about how Brett/team took charge to correct our concerns. In our opinion Brett and the team went above and beyond to rectify our issues/concerns. We keep mentioning Brett's name because to us he is the face of General RV and a great representative of your company. We would also like to mention the sales person we dealt with at the Hershey RV show, Randy Spontack. He was great to deal with, very knowledgeable, answered all our questions and low sales pressure.

I was easily directed to the person I needed to talk to. The service department answered my questions and was able to schedule an appointment for me while I waited. As a first time brand new RV Class C owner, there is a huge learning curve. Being able to contact someone in this first 10 days has been very reassuring. I also received a call from David Joiner checking in on my new purchase and he was also able to answer some questions that I had.
I do have a couple of recommendations for future "Walk thru" Appointments with brand new RV owners. First, ask if they have ever owned an RV before- have a plan for a little different approach for the first timers. Its a lot of information to take in and without being shown how to operate some of the different systems, the new owner is left with questions and that can lead to doubts about many things. Second, let the new owner know that there are resources for learning how to drive the new RV, draining the black tank, filling the water tank, and other physical things that are done when camping. Hopefully, these simple services are available.
I understand the time restraints with so many vehicles, but this can go a long way.
Overall, I would say I have been very satisfied. Thank you Tracy Carbone and David Joiner.

I bought a new RV in TN. Drove it to CO. A/C unit operating controls lost its connections. Called manufacturer of the house part of the RV who recommended General RV (GRV). Once GRV heard of my issue they said it qualified for critical status. Brought it in next day. Service dept guys: Cameron looked once & said I’d have to wait even though I told him I had an appointment. The other guy working was uninviting & ignored me when I walked up to the service counter right in front of him & he remained dismissive the entire time I encountered him throughout my time there. But the one service lady Carol took the needed effort to find my reservation in their multiple systems. I waited in the sales area & Ashley & Jamie & Ryan weee very helpful. Once I got my vehicle “fixed” I noted the problem still existed with main control panel for AC. Ashley came out to check. She asked Nate to come back to look at the AC. Nate was very methodical, genuinely interested in solving the issue. Nate got out the manual & kept reviewing & trying various things until he (in a relatively short time) discovered & fixed the problem. Reason for 5-Stars is because of Carol, Ashley & Nate’s excellent customer service and team effort. Unfriendly employees & poor customer service from individual employees can be encountered in almost any business. Next time I come to GRV & I do Not encounter an acceptable level of customer service, I’ll probably not have my work done there, I will write another detail review if possible and never return. And as the customer service rules go: I’ll tell many people about my negative experience and those people will tell many people & it will go viral. Thank you GRV for helping me with my situation and fixing my issues with my RV.
We appreciated the way Brett listened and understood what we were looking for in a trailer. He was able to meet all of our requests and keep us in budget! The whole process was easy and everyone we worked with was friendly and helpful. Thank you!
