Though we purchased our RV at another General RV location, when we on the road and experienced a major mechanical failure, Birch Run General RV got us in THE DAY AFTER WE CALLED. They diagnosed the problem and immediately ordered parts. When the parts arrived they were damaged, and the Parts department went back to work to find another source. During what turned into a multi-day experience, the dealer hosted our RV on their property and allowed us power and access to water. Service writer Matt A. was tireless in keeping us informed, while Service Manager Andrew coordinated the many moving parts of the repair effort. Throughout we were treated with respect and understanding, and at the conclusion were launched to continue our journeys in a safe RV. We could not be happier with the professional performance of the crew at Birch Run General RV.
The staff were all amazing. Was always comfortable and always felt like they were trying to help us make the best decision for us. Never once felt like I was dealing with a sales agent in any way. Definitely a ten out of ten.

I was very impressed that the service area was willing to help me with very short notice. I had an AC vent break and fall off, leaving my rear AC unit on my RV completely exposed. We were supposed to meet friends that day for a weekend and I did not feel it would be wise to travel across the state with an exposed AC unit. The service and parts areas teamed together, found the AC shroud I needed in their parts inventory and installed it within a little more than an hour as a walk in appointment. That was remarkable service - the sort of responsive and caring service that makes all the difference. They literally saves our weekend. I am writing this one day after the service sitting with our dear friends at Tawas State Park. Thank you, General RV for exceptional service!
The staff at the RV dealership were absolutely wonderful to work with. From the moment we walked in, everyone was friendly, patient, and genuinely helpful without being pushy. They took the time to answer every question, explain all the features clearly, and made the entire experience smooth and stress-free. They were very professional. I would definitely recommend them to anyone who is looking for a RV.
Customer care, service quality
Our great experience always begins with Amanda, our Service Advisor. She treats us like more than just customers and consistently goes above and beyond in her communication and customer service. Ingrid and the other ladies at the front desk are also always cheerful, helpful, and wonderful to work with.
This past week, we brought our RV in to have a part replaced, and the process was smooth and efficient. We were finished and out by noon, which was absolutely perfect.

Although our RV has been in the shop for the majority of the time we have owned it, Trevor in service has worked hard to get things fix as quickly as possible. He is very good at keeping us informed.
However, the problems we have had would have not happened had the RV been properly prepared for delivery.

I recently had my Class A motorhome serviced at General RV in Salisbury, NC. I've been coming here for about a year now, and it's great to see the impact that Service Manager Chris is having on the department. Kayla, my service advisor did a great job getting me in, completing my service, and following up with me (even just to let me know she couldn't get to my email and would get back to me the next day). That's true customer service - communication and follow through. When I came to pick up my coach, it was already pulled up in the service bay and ready for me to hook up and go. A big shout out to Robert - one of the Service Techs. He did an awesome job troubleshooting an electrical issue on my toad. He was patient and thorough and made sure the job was done right. Even taught me a few things along the way. Again, Chris is really doing a great job improving the end to end service department. Can't thank him and his team enough.

We truly appreciated the professional attitude and clear explanations Nicholas provided throughout the repair process. Then Lil Jon, our maintenance expert, showed genuine personal concern and care in completing an outstanding repair to our motorhome. The way these two young men looked after us turned what could have been a stressful situation into an absolutely pleasant experience.
