We hesitated to shop at General RV again because previous experience was less than satisfactory. But on a whim we decided to stop in. We were looking for a used class C motor home. The reception staff was very pleasant and while we were waiting for a sales associate the sales manager walked up and introduced himself with handshakes, hugs, and a big OH since my husband was wearing an Ohio State hat. Our associate Dan was pleasant, informative and went above and beyond our expectations. He and Marty, the business manager, were very patient even though our purchase process extended well beyond their closing time on a Sunday afternoon. Time will tell if the Service Department is easier to deal with than our past experience. Overall the “new” General RV staff is excellent and very pleasant to work with.

I was pleased with two unique aspects of the sales process prior to purchasing. 1. The 5th wheel was brought into the bay and hooked up to power and batteries installed so that I could go though all of the systems to see how they operated (slide, awning, power/self leveling and all interior systems). And 2. They made the subject matter experts available to talk with me to discuss the conversion from a pin box to a gooseneck. The rest of the sale went as expected without any problems.

Our salesman, Todd Armstrong, helped us to find the right RV to suit our needs. He was knowledgeable and polite and made the process very seamless and enjoyable. He went above and beyond to help us transfer all our belongings from our trade in to our new camper. Angel in Finance was great to deal with to close out the deal. He helped us get a lower interest rate. The PDI department did a great job getting the camper ready and cleaned. Jennifer, who did our walk through, showed us all the features on our new camper and was extremely helpful in making sure we had all the accessories we needed. We would recommend this team to all in the market for a new or used RV.

Had a great salesman. Good orientation as well although things that were to be fixed were not as we found out later at home. Drove 4 hours home and by next morning the batteries were DEAD. They were encrusted with aluminum oxide crud. Couldn’t have even been looked at. I went and replaced them and are to be reimbursed (hopefully).

Still trying to figure out the entertainment system and TVs. Had to ask about the sewer system plug by calling the company that makes them.

For a RV this large it surpassed our Revel RV by easily 3-4 mpg. We love the small size of this class C.

Jeff in parts was very helpful, we texted back forth several times on the AIR MAXx vent cover. It was a few dollars less on Amazon but felt he deserved the sale with all the help he gave me.
