High level of care and respect for the patient.

It was good overall but I didn’t understand why the first nurse (I believe her name was Sandra) didn’t actively listen to me, when I said I can’t get my veins pricked and answer the intake questions, at the same time. She would pause for a few seconds and then ask another question as Kenny went into my vein. I don’t know if her system went down but questions were repeated a second time. And then some a 3rd. I was getting concerned, She would have finished a lot sooner, if the questions were asked one time, not repeated. She also asked me about a medicine that was not on my medication list. That concerned me where she got that from.
Also, I noticed the last nurse at discharge did the same thing. She asked me if I had brought my pain killers. I said No and then she asked me again a second time. On the instructions I received from Baylor it says we don’t need to bring killers. Why did she ask me that? It felt like I was being second guessed yet again. Perhaps this could be more efficient by asking questions just one time. I never said anywhere that I needed repeated questions.
Overall though I thought Dr. Eisenberg’s team did great once I saw the anesthesiologist assistant, etc.
Easy carport arrival. Great staff, nurses. Well oiled machine.
The front desk receptionist was unfriendly on the phone when I called. When I went in to the office
She continued with an unfriendly attitude.
Penny, was hanging a bad day too. Completely rude.
I was waiting for my medication in The pharmacy and
Had to call her 4 times because she kept calling in the wrong medication. Each time I called she got ruder and ruder. I will never go there again.
Clean - friendly - efficient - overall easy to work with.

Had excellent care through my outpatient surgery. All of my nurses from preop, post op, recovery and OR were exceptional and compassionate. Dr Wheeler and Dr Vu took excellent care of me as well. I will definitely come back for any future procedures or treatments.

Well staffed, clean, up to date facilities
The lack of personal feel when having outpatient procedures due. I do realize that health care is very busy these days but with the system you have it feels though your being run through like cattle. For we pay in insurance premiums and the cost of health care I believe we deserve better. I know this is a business model that works for you but it doesn't mean I like it. One idea that comes to mind is a few extra people in pre-op to visit with patients before they go back, to talk to and make the patients feel at ease, believe me most people don't want to be there and their uncomfortable. I can't speak for anyone but myself and I have been in your pre-op more than a couple times and someone to come in and change the mood or thought process would have helped me on more than one occasion.
Dr. Hassell and staff were so professional from start to finish. Everyone we encounter were friendly, prompt and efficient at their station. I feel so blessed to be care for by your staff. Please keep up with your high standard you set forth and its show. Special shout to Dr. jeff Hassell for outstanding care that, he is providing.

I appreciate the way that every employee/staff help patients feel welcomed. They are caring, courteous, knowledgeable, and attentive. The nurses are organized, detailed, and patient. While waiting to go to ambulatory care for surgery, the schedule and phases of recovery were explained to me in a caring manner.
This was my first time going to Baylor hospital on Warren Parkway in Frisco. I was so impressed with all aspects of my surgery and recovery that day. This hospital is a top notch operation!!!
