I drove 45 minutes to Naperville because this bike shop said they needed to see my bike and take pictures for themselves for a simple incorrect shock replacement.
I went to the bike shop, they took the photos, when I got home I immediately emailed them my proof of purchase/receipt. I even called the next day to follow up to mage sure the store manager received my email and Danny confirmed they did.
Four days later I called to follow up and they STILL hadn't submitted my claim! The store manager said the Trek system was down. This is not true, as I was able to submit my claim with another bike shop closer to me, that didn't require I take my bike in, but instead simply send them photos of my incorrect shock and my bike SN.
On top of all of that, this bike shop charges $20 to submit a claim with Trek - even though trek pays them to do the work. No other bike shop does this!
Worst customer service of any bike shop I've gone to so far!
Staff always very helpful w/Q&A re accessories. Just had brake pads replaced, and, OMGosh, should done this a couple years ago! Thanks DG Trek!

I felt Sean knew about models and preferences in the different bikes. He helped
with the size, model, function and essential information.
The bike was not in stock, but was ordered and came in about a week later. Custom
fit and made for me, with purchase of bike carrier and kickstand.
When picked up the representative was excellent and the bike was loaded into my car and I learned more about availability of bags for the carrier.
All around very happy with the service, selection, and the bike itseld, the right choice.
Plan to be using it for a long, long time!

Everything! The customer service, the information and time given to help make an informed decision.
Crazy busy. Staff was over worked. Availability of helmets was minimal. We were there for 10-15 minutes before we could get someone to help us, and then another 10 minutes to get a helmet from the back because of the crowd. An additional attentive floor staff during peak hours makes sense. Or train employees to manage two-three groups at once while clearly managing expectations of customers.

You staff was awesome. Had a bike delivered to my home fully assembled, except for front brake. Something looked off about the bike, but I couldn’t put my finger on it. I tried to attach cable to front caliper, but I never worked on disc brakes and decided that I needed professional intervention. I brought it to shop and right away service tech pointed out cables we run incorrectly on bike. They did a rush job for me because I needed bike for upcoming trip. They fixed everything. Re-ran cables connected and adjusted front and rear disc brakes and installed a kick stand. They said it would take 6 days, but they did it overnight. Thank you again!
Lead time was actually better than advised when I checked my bike in but disappointingly the bike was not given a full service as requested merely rear gears aligned, Tubeless sealant had not been replaced as requested and was then done whilst I waited in store
Very nice young man in parts took care of me. Very courteous and seemed to enjoy his job. I got the tires and tubes I wanted. One tire needed to be ordered and it did arrive in about a week as I was told.
Came in for a little routine inspection after I purchased a bike a few months ago. The service department was cool about that and I had a great conversation with the salesman about MTB trails while they worked on it. I really like this store and will return.
