I've had two other Trek bicycles in the past. It was definitely time for a new one. I went to JAX Bicycles in Long Beach, CA, that was where I purchased my other bikes. I found the staff, including David and Jonah, to be knowledgeable and easy to work with. David was very helpful in helping me to pick out the correct sized bike for me. Even though there was a gap of several months from my first look to my eventual buy, the store honored the price quote they had given on my first look, that saved $100. While I waited to buy I researched other bikes and felt that Trek was a good choice. From what I read, Trek has a good reputation. My previous Treks had a long life span, in fact my 1990's bike is still in fairly good condition. David was extremely patient on the sale day and installed some accessories I had taken from my other bikes. I purchased a Verve 3 4th Gen low step women's XS bike. I think it's a great fit. It is heavier than my previous bikes, but I'm older and felt I needed the low step. Reading reviews I saw others around my age saying how satisfied they were with that bike. I'm happy with my bike, helmet, and the few other accessories I purchased, as well as the service I received. I appreciated that there was no attempt to upsell me on bikes.
Needed help with the purchase of new seats for our bikes The woman who helped us spent a ton of time helping and then installing our purchase. We will definitely return for any needs in the future. A+
Dave and the service technicians at Jax in Irvine are top-flight and enjoy talking about the bicycling lifestyle and sport. They are professional and prompt as well. You guys are awesome. I had a flat tire on my fat tire Ebike all the shops that I usually go to were closed. It was Labor Day weekend so I drove down to Huntington Beach to Rad bicycle shop. Their service department was closed. They sent me to.Jaxs just down the street and they were happy to serve me. They had a lot of business that day good for them. They deserve it. They took care of me right away and I was on my way with under an hour. Thank you I still got to enjoy my Labor Day weekend.
Bike accessories and local knowledge. This location once had a staff member who taught me how to use clips to ride - he took me out to the parking lot to instruct me. Very generous usage of his time. I am forever grateful.
I brought my bike tire in for a flat repair. They repaired it in about 10 minutes. Then one of the guys from the service area showed me a bike, discussed bikes with me and area rides and trails. He was very welcoming and informative. When I’m ready to buy a new bike, accessories, apparel or service I’ll go back to Jax.

Everyone at the store is consistently friendly, welcoming, and knowledgeable. Over the years, I have brought in several bicycles for repair and have always been impressed with the service. Most recently, I purchased a new bike from Jax, and I couldn’t be happier with its quality, performance, and overall value.

They had a great price on some e bikes. We called with questions and Wyatt spent some time with us answering all the questions we had. We never felt hurried. We went in and purchased our bikes an HOUR LATER.

I like that you were flexible in supporting a long-time customer regarding bicycle repairs. I bought a tire repair package for one of my bikes, but a different bike required service. The tires and rims I purchased were basically falling apart 14 months after purchase. Your sales guy prorated a discount for new tires, offered a tire package for the other bike, and made the whole experience worth the value. This is how you drive customer loyalty.

Both Vince and Wyatt were very helpful in finding a solution for my bike handlebars. They realized they could flip my stem to bring the bars closer to me, which will make my riding experience much more comfortable and ergonomically better. Now I can start training again!
