I had visited this store a few times before to pick up some smaller items, but while there the staff was very informative and helpful while I window-shopped the gravel bikes.
When I came into the market for a gravel bike, I did a little online research to narrow down which bike I wanted. It turned out it was one of the bikes the staff member at Jax had recommended and showed me while I was previously in the store.
When I came in to purchase, it was close to closing, but the guys working were still very welcoming and assured me I had plenty of time to find a bike and make a purchase.
I got what I wanted, as well as the necessary accessories, and left a very happy customer. I rode the bike the next morning and it was perfect.
We are newbies to the cycle world and went here to get a good seat. The customer service was above expectations. He told us about the seat we selected and explained our “seat bones” and how it impacts our ride. They have a great tool that identifies your seat which in turn helps know the width of seat is best. We will be back and recommend JAX.
Staff is friendly courteous and kind. Service Manager Thomas Adams is very knowledgeable.
But, a wider selection of socks and riding kits would be good.
The friendly attitude from all of the employee's at Jax. The attitude of the people that you deal with is more important that the selection of bikes, accessories, or the multitude of repair/replace options that a bicycle store contains.
