The team at the Folsom store are very knowledgeable, approachable and friendly. Everyone there has been great to deal with. Even before buying our current bikes from Folsom Bikes (EDH) we’d been bringing our aging bikes in for service for some time.
I trust in the advice and service guidance given at the store. It’s so nice to have people in the shop who are very much passionate about what they do.

I called to ask if a Wahoo bike computer was in stock, which it was (but not at REI). I really appreciated the information that he gave to me over the phone - afterwards I said that I’d be there shortly to pick it up and he said, “we’d love to have come in” which made me feel that my business was really appreciated.
During my visit picking it up, I was also able to get a first-hand review for MTB (not for road biking) from the same guy I spoke with on the phone. It was super helpful because there’s almost no info online or YouTube about MTB-specific use.
Service & products were 10/10!
Josh was very helpful and considerate in the service he provided. While addressing my flat tire, other issues were discovered that needed attention and Josh kept me updated and was apologetic as the wait was considerably longer that I had anticipated. Ultimately the issues were resolved satisfactorily and it was fortunate that the other issues with my bike were discovered when they were.

I worked with Josh and Andrew --- I was especially appreciative of Josh's willingness to work with me over the phone to purchase my bike! His position and level of communication built trust and confidence for my purchase. He trusted that I knew what I wanted and he knew his inventory and staff could deliver. I went out of the Bay Area to come to Folsom bikes!! The attention to detail, and tweaking things till they fit or balanced well were unique and incomparable! They built the bike to perfection because on my test ride I could ride with no hands on the handlebars-- well balanced!! The customization of features was most appreciated!!! They had an enormous acceptance and willingness to work with me as a woman recreation rider; your staff showed no elitism or snobbishness! I observed that although the staff were largely white males--- they indeed had multi - cultural customers which meant a lot to me -- they took the time and interacted the same with East Indian and Mexican customers the same as myself. It says a lot how many women were buying bikes in your store!! Thank you!!
Your sense of humor, self disclosure and ability to develop a relationship with me and my trek made it a happy experience and happy day!! Bike safety, and protection were an important part of our interaction. Thanks a gazillion!!
