The Bicycle Habitat staff were incredibly helpful and patient in my search for a new bike! The 30 day policy to try out the bike is amazing, as you have peace of mind you are choosing the right one and if not can bring it back to swap for something different. Would highly recommend for either first timers or experienced cyclists!
The bike mechanic saw me promptly, treated me with respect without any bike snobbery that can be found at some shops. The bike was extensively serviced in less than 24 hours , fair service charge with professional, courteous knowledgeable staff. I will definitely return.
Matt’s personal attention to detail, and his willingness to explain the work that was being done was exceptional. His passion for cycling and his willing ness to explain what he understands made it fun and educational.
Excellent customer service
I feel often when I get my bicycle back after a repair there is something wrong or forgotten. This time the rack on the back was not attached. I will now need to go back and have that fixed. The person at the counter was not very friendly or helpful. He was actually somewhat rude.
Everyone that I have interacted with has been very knowledgeable and helpful. I also appreciate the store's long history and support of biking in the city.
You service your customers very cordially and, equally important, you do a good job. I got my two bikes from your shop. Keep it up!

This is my usual location. I have a mechanic I trust, and have done so for the last 5+ years. While I was there, the owner of Bicycle Habitat was also there, he was overseeing that everyone was attended to, unsurprisingly, every single person he checked with was. I was hyped to see this well oiled machine delivering value to everyone across different levels (casual cruisers to spandex warriors.)

Sales rep was very knowledgeable and helpful.
Chad provided excellent advice and directed me to a lower cost solution for my issue, and then quickly and effectively installed his recommended workaround on my bike. He could have sold me a much more expensive solution but directed me to something less expensive.

Quick and friendly service— I was amazed that from the time I dropped off my bike and it was ready for an annual tune with new tires (no major repairs needed) was 2 hours. The text alerts and estimate before drop off were great too.
