I came in knowing nothing (still don’t) and Mike walked me through a lot. Gave me a bunch of information to take back home do research come back and test out a bike.
He's very knowledgeable & personable & made me feel comfortable with beginning this journey
Nate and Matt were very welcoming and offered to let me try out the bicycle out on the street. They were also very informed about the bicycle brand I came there for. It was a pleasant experience.

You guys are excellent. I always get my bike back the same day I bring it in for a repair. It seems you have enough staff to meet demand which is rare in NYC bike shops. You also close at 7 which is great- most shops close at 5 pm for some reason. Tune ups are a bit pricy, but your guys know what they are doing so it's worth it.

We've purchased many bikes from BH. Yet in the past two years, we've spent more on fixes than purchase price of bikes in the past few years - we come in for one fix and come back very soon after for another issue. Feeling like there is not a thorough diagnoses or other damage happens when fixing the bike. Moved on to another bike shop.
Quality of shop work is good but expensive and price seems to balloon each time I go. Also the front desk person was annoying. Didnt answer the question I actually asked, and over explained stuff I already knew for his own gratification so I didnt end up finding what i was looking for
Such an amazing experience, calm and reassuring! I purchased my first bike here and it was a great location for test riding too!

Knowledge and good service and decent spread of quality bikes
$60 for a 10-min steering tube cut is kind of criminal.
The only friendly bike shop I’ve ever walked into that went all out . In 15 yrs of living in NYC and being an avid cyclist this is rare.

I had a phenomenal experience at Bicycle Habitat purchasing a bike for my first grader! The person who assisted me was incredibly knowledgeable, patient, and helpful throughout the entire process. I initially had a bike assembled that, unfortunately, turned out to be too small, but they went above and beyond to accommodate my last-minute change and help me find the right fit for my child. Their professionalism, flexibility, and genuine commitment to customer satisfaction made the experience stress-free and enjoyable. I regret not remembering their name because they truly deserve recognition for their excellent service. I would absolutely recommend Bicycle Habitat to anyone looking for a bike and a team that genuinely cares about getting things right for their customers!
There’s a lot of products available within store. If not, they will order or source for you. The service is top tier. Fast, easy and very communicative which is very appreciated

Great service, quick root cause analysis and fast warranty process.
I brought my bike in for an tune-up estimate and when I found out the price would be higher than the cost of a new bike in my price range, I went to the store to ask if they had any bikes on sale or in my price range.
The sales person was nice but pointed me toward bikes above my price range and discouraged me from buying one that I could afford.
The bikes were very nice but I would have preferred to be shown the bikes I could buy rather than the ones I couldn't.
The mechanics really worked hard to figure out what was wrong and were able to fix it despite being an edge case causing the issue.
Great service. Took the time to teach me and guide me through everything without feeling rushed or judged. Very knowledgable and passionate. Great service overall and happy I entered the world of cycling through BH at V. Thanks again!
