Chad is also incredibly helpful and a joy to chat with. The team at the Vanderbilt location is the primary reason that I frequent this bike shop even if it’s out of my way compared to others.

Bought my Marin Muirwoods in 2004. I use it for my grocery shopping. I like your 5th Ave. store’s on-the-spot repairs. The staff are very knowledgeable and helpful.
Dropped off bike. Could have got my chain replaced right there, but they let me pick it up the next day since I had something to get to.
I go to Bicycle Habitat on Vanderbilt for all my servicing, and have never been disappointed. Tim and Eric are fantastic with my bikes.

I was lucky to have my phone call answered by Eduardo and he was fantastic. Knowledgeable, informative about all products and the reason I bought the bike through them.

I brought in my bike to have the rear fender realigned. It turned out the fender had come unplugged from one of its sockets (something that happens with some frequency, and I overlooked before bringing it in). This was figured out while I stood in the doorway; while I'd understand your shop "having" to charge me the $5 fee to even take a look, I was charged an additional $15 for this!! I also asked to have my headset tightened, which I was charged $25 (!!!!!) for. Most shops have done this for nothing when I'm paying for some other service. While I understand any bike shop's need to survive, this is the WORST way to create customer loyalty.
I feel grossly overcharged and nickel & dimed.
