I live in Westchester and I chose to come to THIS location of Bicycle Habitat in Brooklyn to find my new bike.
The staff is wonderful - knowledgable, friendly, and professional. They helped me find something in my budget and, when I was ready to pick it up, helped me secure it to my bike rack, so I could safely drive it home.
The staff here are just really down to earth and easy to work with. There are a lot of bike shops in the area. I’d highly recommend this one!

I don't go around randomly bringing up bike shops people can go to. My recommendation generally will be based on if the bike shop is near where they live. It is in no way a mark against you guys.
Very nice customer service
I'd had great experiences getting tune ups and odds and ends (water bottles, etc.) from Bicycle Habitat but finally decided last month that it was time to get a new, lighter bike. Came in and explained what I was looking for and felt so taken care of by the folks showing me around the already built models. I love riding, but know very little about the nuances of what makes bikes faster/better/more tailored to me and it blew my mind to consider a large frame was the answer to some pain I had on my old bike. The entire visit was educational and I picked up my newly built bike a few days later! Y'all have my business for life. <3

Good, fast, service
Everyone is super nice and attentive. I found Adam and a couple of the ladies (Eva?) specially helpful and responsive. They took the time to go over the bike with me and listen to my needs rather than trying to sell me something that would not work for me.
The mechanics are a 100 too!

Eric was super helpful and kind and not at all condescending despite my lack of knowledge! I had been dreading going to the bike shop because I don't know very much about bikes. My issue was that somebody else took my bike apart and I didn't know how to put it back together again or even what pieces were supposed to be part of the assembly. I put off going for a long time because I was embarrassed. But he helped me figure out what was missing and took the time to explain everything to me. I really, really appreciated his help.
Service was quick and easy. Got the bike and was in and out quickly.
