Specifically got a bike from you for service plan and then when I went in for service I was talked out of it the first time. Then I was told the policy was suspended. Regret not purchasing a more affordable online bike. Also some of your people are condescending and a little rude- maybe to middle aged moms-like a shady bro vibe.

I was so happy with my experience at bicycle habitat. The staff are extremely knowledgeable! I will be going back.
I asked the mechanic to check the bike to make sure it safe ride more than once and he refused.
He could have tested the cranks, pedals, etc. advised me of the quality, made sure that all parts were secure, but he just said it's the ridability if you're riding it that means it's safe to ride.
It felt very insensitive to me as a fat person riding a track bike; I did not feel seen.
Otherwise the experience was lovely; socializing with staff and the prices were fair.
But I also applied for a job here in the summer and never heard back besides me taking the initiative to speak to the owner. It's wild that such a loyal customer couldn't even get a brief email after putting time and effort into applying and wanting to be a valuable asset to the team.
Was also charged for labor of a mechanic who I gave tires to that I bought from your shop. I don't know if you're exploiting the labor of the mechanic or if he still wanted to charge me, when I should have at least gotten the employee discount off the tires I bought and gave to him.
For this and other reasons of unprofessional staff, I already have another bike shop, but I came here because I got a flat in the area.
