Great shop, Brian N was super friendly, knowledgeable and helpful, and got me the perfect replacement for my old bike. I should say that the derailer wasn't fully tightened when I purchased the bike, and there was some slippage on my first ride that cause the chain to fall off, so there were a few hiccups on the first day - but overall everything was great!

The wonderful person who helped me was kind, thoughtful, knowledgeable, and shared info without me feeling rushed, or not knowing enough about bikes, or whatever snobby bike stores do lol. Had a great experience, not as close as Ride Brooklyn but will def come back!

After a short wait to speak with someone regarding service for my bike it was taken in and repaired (rear wheel inner tube replacement) in 5 minutes. Then I was on my way. Reasonable price and reliable service (also got my bike tuned up during a few months before).

The person I first talked with was a little patronizing and didn’t really want to help me. I came home and told my family I felt the same way I did when I was young and went into male-dominated record shops. If I really want my bike fixed, I feel like I have to return with a my son, a serious cyclist, who rides a very nice bike.
On the other hand, Rick is always nice to me and when he came along, he gave me lots of time and advice and ideas. (I think that’s his name. The older guy who often leads bike tours.)

I brought in a cracked frame to get an opinion and they took their time to properly advise me. These are solid guys that deserve your business.

Long line outside to pick up bike is a bit frustrating.

Personalized! I bought what I needed, nothing more - all were honest, educated and skilled!!

I dropped my bike of on Saturday and was told it would be done Tuesday. I called on Friday evening to find out why I hadn't heard back and after asking about my bike I had to wait on hold for 15 minutes so that when someone came back to the phone they could tell me it was being worked on then. When I came to pick the bike the front brake hadn't been tightened well. Even worse, the mechanic broke the shifter so that the marker no longer moves when I shift gears. The shifter worked when I dropped it off so I was unhappy about this. I went back to the shop and had to wait through a long line again to explain this. I was told there was nothing that could be done about the shifter and that it wasn't your shop's fault even though it worked when I went in.
To me it seems like I got shoddy, rushed work on a Friday afternoon when someone wanted to get home and then had my bike thrust on them as you closed because it was forgot all week. The brake not being done right and the shifter getting broken don't inspire much confidence in your shop.
You could make it right by fixing or replacing the shifter.
