What do you like about our products and services?

I took my bicycle in for a 1k mile tuneup. The mechanic clearly explained what was needed and turned it around quickly. The guy who handed the bicycle over to me when I picked it up sold me some chain lube and was also clear in his advice.
I look forward to working with you in the future.

The staff is friendly, competent, and honest. They seem to move between very different kinds of cyclist with ease, treating everyone with respect.
In the middle of the week, they were able adjust my bike right away.

What do you like about our products and services?

Bicycle Habitat and Justine in particular hung in with my order during this time in which it's really hard to get bikes. I felt like I had a friend on the other end of the line when I called and eventually I got my stunning new bike thanks to BH & Justine. Yay.

How did we disappoint you and what can we do to make things right?

I went in for an axel repair and was quoted a $210 entire wheel replacement. I went to another shop and the work done for $30.

I brought my bike in for a flat fix but hours later the tire went flat ,
I had to bring it in a second time and the next mechanic found a piece of glass that wasn't detected the first time.

What do you like about our products and services?

Your staff are super responsive and helpful diagnosing issues. So far so good on improving a very squirrely shifting problem with a Specialized that I bought there a couple of years ago. Excellent service.

How did we disappoint you and what can we do to make things right?

I ordered a bike in the morning and called here to see if there was any chance it was already built. First they told me the only one that was built was a window display with fendors and lights and all kinds of other crap. I did not want any of that so I asked if it was possible to take it off so I could pick up that bike. I was told I would need to pay labor for that. When they realized I was willing to pay the labor then I was told they didn't want to remove the accessories at all, they wanted to sell it as is. I didn't feel like driving to Brooklyn twice so I said fine and they sold me an extra $300 of garbage that took me all of 30 minutes to take off. Instead of spending 30 minutes to take accessories that a customer already spending $2200 did not want off of the bike, they basically forced me to buy all of that junk that is now on my garage floor because it was too inconvenient to remove it... I picked up the bike and the gentleman at the door was AWESOME, Victor. he let me in the store and I dealt with him the entire time and have nothing but positive things to say. The front derailleur was making some noise so Victor brought the bike back in for a mechanic to check out. No surprise, the mechanic came back out without adjusting a thing and told me it was fine. So now I need to bring the bike to another shop to get that adjusted. It's obvious Bicycle habitat does not care about their customers and are just taking advantage of everyone while there is a bike shortage due to covid. Well one day this shortage will end and I can't wait for your store to be stuck sitting on thousands of dollars of merchandise and no return customers because you treated them all like they were disposable.

How did we disappoint you and what can we do to make things right?

I placed an order in the morning and called to see if there was any chance of a same day pickup. The guy I spoke to on the phone was not helpful at all beyond directing me to call all of their other locations to see if they had the bike in stock and built there. Seems like a job for the person that works at the store, not the customer shelling out $2500. I'll be avoiding this store moving forward. Only reason I even purchased from here is because due to global bike shortages I had no choice. The store seems to be fully aware of the bike shortages because they treat their customers like they could care less about them.
