The gears on my bike were switching smoother for about a week. Taking away and adding gear. But now right handlebars gear when I switch is catching and slipping or about a 10 second delay. Essentially back to the similar problems I was having with the gears when I brought the bike here in November.
My favorite bike shop in Manhattan. Matt is very personable and helpful. I appreciate the honesty, no scams or trying to deceive me with pricing and fixes.

While you have necessary protocols and sometimes I need to wait, staff uses a common sense approach if for instance I have a flat tire and a mechanic can squeeze me in while working on a dropped off bike.
Staff goes beyond the immediate repair and suggests important additional repairs that emerge without any inkling that I'm gauging me for more work. It's all legit.
Staff seem quite genuinely friendly among themselves creating very positive atmosphere.
It's fun to go into your store.
