They did a great job tuning up my bike. Service was prompt.
I dropped my bike off at Bicycle Habitat because the chain slipped off when I switched gears. I asked for a tune up at the same time. When I returned, I was told that a mechanic checked the bike and found it to be fine. I was then given the option of getting a refund on my deposit or a credit. I felt assured by the mechanic's assessment and was impressed that I wasn't charged for his time.
Super knowledgable and friendly. Not at all pushy and genuinely interested in meeting the customer's needs, even if that means downselling them. Great service, awesome selection of add-ons, and free bike check ups for life!
It was all good. The price was a bit high but perhaps that’s the cost of doing business in NYC.

I purchased a bike new this summer, and had some issue with the cassette or free wheel, it just came loose and was wobbly and the bike was suddenly unusable. I brought it immediately to the store, and every person was super friendly and understanding about it and made the repair immediately- only about 10 minutes, and I was so relieved when it was still under warranty. Really made my day. Definitely a very friendly and customer oriented experience. thanks!
