Bought a new mountain bike - ran it in for a couple of months then went back in to enquire about a free check up as I was passing . Chain had popped off a couple of times in low gear. Sorted it straight away. Asked about a front mudguard as none on my other bikes seemed to fit. They couldn’t find one immediately but said they’d investigate. Couple of weeks later I get a voicemail from Pete saying he’d found one. I should’ve replied sooner that I’d jury rigged one - but really appreciate the response and sorting the bike. My 4th bike from Cooksons.
They also fixed an annoying misaligned tyre on another bike there a then when I popped in whilst passing - no charge.
I’ve no idea how competitive their prices are but the service, on every measure, is excellent- which is why I wouldn’t buy a bike from anyone else
