The bike hire centre at Coed-y Brenin is well staffed with knowageable bike people.
The shop is stocked with a great range of clothing and accessories.
There were plenty of Trek and specialised eMTBs to hire and as a 6'6" person, the Trek Rail+ size XL was perfect for me.
The staff were really helpful in helping me chose an eMTB to buy with no pressure to purchase.
Oh and finally, the trails at Coed-y Brenin are just awesome. Just a shame that the visitor centre and cafe is inexplicably closed at the moment but that is seperate from the bike hire centre.
I can fuly recommend Beics Brenin and can't wait to return.

The set up at Summit just seems right. It’s obvious the store manager Jim is very knowledgeable and quietly builds rapport through a range of simple relevant questions to understand your biking needs then offers a range of options to meet them. Everything he said matched my subsequent internet searches confirming the quality of his advice. I know I could have bought my Specialized diverge 4 marginally cheaper through an internet site but that saving is far outweighed by the sizing, build and tailored set up for my body shape and riding style. My bike will need servicing in the future so it just makes sense to support your local bike shop, particularly when they are this good.

Saw Jimmy for Sidas footbeds for mountain and road shoes, cleat position on mtb shoes and a follow up chat on the Cyclefit bike fit I had last year.
New fit involved quite a few changes to my previous fit all of which have improved my riding, making it more enjoyable.
Next step is a new Seven from Cyclefit later this year.
