I had to have a warranty job done on my bike last week. Mike did a brilliant job on what I thought was a tricky repair. Not only that his communication and ability to cement a relationship were superb. I'm already telling everyone I know how pleased I am.
Summit were really helpful in finding me my first eMTB (at the age of 66!).
Initially I hired an XL (I’m 6’6”) Trek Rail+ 5 at their bike hire centre at Coed y Brenin. Jim the manager there was really knowledgeable, helpful and patient with no pressure to buy.
I opted to buy the bike from Summit’s shop in Aberystwyth as closer to my home. The bike was set up exactly for my height and weight etc. and was ready for collection with my additions when promised. Gaz at Aberystwyth was particularly helpful and knowledgeable.
I can thoroughly recommend Summit for both bike hire in Coed y Brenin (where they have4 a good range of eMTBs from XL to S, Trek and Specialised) and bike sales where they have a large, well-stocked shop in Aberystwyth, both locations with friendly, knowledgeable staff.
Oh and finally, the trails at Coed y Brenin are awesome.

"Peddlers: A Dangerous Place to Visit"
Peddlers is a dangerous place to visit. Though when your bike needs an F1 pit stop, it is the only place to go.
You begin to tremble as you push your cycle past row after row of new, attractive, gleaming machines. It is not merely the fantastic colours. It is the technology: magical gears, powerful motors, and enormous 900-watt batteries.
I knew I had to escape, and quickly. I could already feel my debit card growing hot in my pocket.
The pit stop was rapid. I left Peddlers in a cold sweat, relieved to have survived without buying another bicycle.
Then my phone pinged.
Hayley had sent me an email containing the price of the beautiful new bike I had been admiring.
I closed my eyes.
I began to dream...
"How many bicycles are too many? Surely, the correct answer is always one more!"

As soon as you walk in the shop you get a friendly welcome and it’s obvious that there’s a wealth of experience there, that the guys are only too happy to pass on.

I picked up a puncture but forgot to bring my bike bag with me! The guys in the shop were great. They got me sorted and Ifinished my ride. Even got a great cup of coffee as well!

It’s fab to go into a shop and receive such amazing customer service. Adam and the team have great knowledge, they were really helpful when I was testing out and choosing my bike. Then when I collected it they went the extra mile to make sure my accessories were fitted, it was in great working order and I was happy. I didn’t feel like just another sale but like they cared that I was happy with my new bike - I’m thrilled with it. I’d highly recommend for the service, expertise and friendliness - none of which you’d get if you shopped online.

I ordered a Scoot XL this week, and I was very happy with the service.
I found the bike on the web site, then rang to clarify delivery and collection options, and spoke to Paul, who could not have been more helpful. I completed the order online and when I collected it on Saturday, it was assembled and good to go. Excellent service all around.
First time using the cycle centre for servicing my bike, and it was great kept informed as to what was required and the price was very reasonable for the work that was done. Would recommend using them.

Had a great experience buying a bike online with Wheelbase. Was originally advised 1-2 weeks delivery time which was expected, but after ordering it the bike then came the next day! Paid for the premium delivery and set up and the bike was well put together with no issues. Had several emails and calls throughout the process so communication was excellent, and the price was reasonable too. Would definitely use them again.
Staff, particularly Ben , were patient , clear in explanations about types of E-bikes. He allowed us to trial ride the bikes we were interested in & whilst advised us on locks etc did not force a sale.
The team in service were also helpful with pointers & advice.
I will probably be bringing my road bike in for service as really appreciated honesty of staff.
