Way better than a well-known American competitor with a similarly priced, noisier, larger pump, but with fewer functions or the excellent little zip-up bag with side compartment… a lovely touch!

A warm and friendly cycle shop staffed by people who know bikes, care about cycling and really understand customer service. My chain replacement was completed really quickly without the need for a booking, plus the mechanic gave the bike a good once over and fixed a couple of minor things. I had my bike repaired in First name removed's recently. I found the service incredibly professional, and the repair itself outstanding. Now, the bike is in better condition than it was when I originally purchased it.
I have bought a number of bikes from Wheelbase over the years. Being a repeat buyer is an indication of how much I trust the firm and the staff who had served me. Luke was excellent, he systematically went through all I needed to know concerning the Cube I wanted to purchase, nothing was too much trouble. He even loaded my new bike into my car for me. Unusually I was able to take the bike home on the same day I first saw it in the warehouse. I phoned the previous day as recommended by the Wheelbase website to discuss the model of emtb that I wanted to buy. Harry who I spoke to said that he would get the Wheelbase workshop to prepare the bike so I could take it home should I want to buy it. This was at the beginning of the October sale, when the workshop must have been at full stretch to complete orders and was something I was extremely grateful to Wheelbase for. When I arrived to look at the Cube was waiting for me as promised, checked and ready to take home.
I was extremely grateful to Luke for the meticulous was he went through all I needed to know once I owned the Cube emtb. It goes without saying that should I want another bike Wheelbase would be my first port of call. I know I got a bargain in the price I paid and in the service I received.
