I am super pleased with the service Robbie carried out to my Dawes Hyrbrid ( verve 2) Trek bike. I had bought the bike from Ryan ( Proprietor ) in July 2024 and was leaving it in for its first major service. Robbie tightened up the front cable, front mudguard, handlebars, checked the chainwheel and sprocket, straightened a rear wheel buckle, pumped up the tyres to the proper air pressure and serviced all the moving parts. Additionally, he installed, very neatly, a u-lock bracket onto the frame so I don't have to carry my lock on the carrier. All done and dusted within a couple of hours . The bike is moving so much sweeter on the roads and seems to have more pick up and propulsion since the service ! I reccommend the team at Penny farthing for all your bike needs . 5 star rating for me.

As usual, the staff at Primo were so helpful. They sorted my bike out and for a really affordable cost in only an hour. They even pumped up my tires! My bike feels like new.

Oh - I just love Summit Cycles. I will always take the time to go there for personal services. I feel a little like a child in a candy shop when I go in there. My latest attempt to go in for ''brake pads'' resulted in my leaving with two sets of pads, another tool, and my favorite 'Bum Bag' to date... and I have had some great bags over the years. This one is made by FOX, fully waterproof, with waterproof zips and came with a bladder in it what will get used in summer for sure.
As ususal, I had to get out of there before I spent my wages in an hour hehe.
Just fantastic cycling items. Always carrying those unique items of a type that sets straight into the place of a massive gap held personally for months until walking into the shop. Boom, just like that.. I am so pleased with ths bag!
As for the pads... I had been playing around with compounds, but they had a compound I had not tried as yet. No squealing in the wet, and so quick to bite that I am being ultra easy on the lever right now... and they are not yet bedded-in.
So, indeed... Go to Summit and have a fun time. Great service, every time, without fail!

Dave on the tools and Gary (I think he was the Saturday boy? 😉😄) were very helpful and friendly. Dave fixed an issue with my friends road bike while Gary explained the various options to me to help decide which mountain bike to purchase. I got a great Specialized Rock Hopper which was reduced by 25% due to the shop move sale.
They are moving soon, to a nearby shop and lots of bikes and equipment are on sale, so go and grab a bargain while you can!

Excellent service from Cycle Technology. Customer service and experience is the best I have ever had in any Cycle shop. Dan and Neil have gone above and beyond to help me. Nothing is too much trouble. The shop itself is very clean and has a good stock of bikes, helmets etc. Or bikes can be ordered for you.
I would recommend this shop to any cyclist.
