We visited the Chelmsford store after viewing e bikes at other store. Ian listened to what we were looking to use the bikes for and spent time discussing everything from weight to distance etc. key was the size and weight of the bike for my wife. We looked at helmets lockets and bags and ended up with two great Specialized bikes that are a pleasure to ride. Many thanks to Ian for his help with choosing the bikes.
My electric bike a Cube Kathmandu is close to 12 months old and well overdue a full dealer service. I dropped the bike off in Staveley a day later than planned due to a problem on my part, no worries Wheelbase had a slot to fit it in. I had asked if the software could be altered to extend the trip recorder from its very limited 7 days to reset to a month. After they contacted their supplier it was apparent this change was not possible but Wheelbase would pursue this when convenient. New brake pads were all that was needed, I use a dry lube on the chain which I applied after collecting the bike as agreed. I took the bike out for a short ride once home and everything was as smooth as the day I bought it, well done guys, very happy with the service carried out. Cheers Name removed
