My carpet is nearly 20 years old but looks like new after the Zerorez treatment. The man who cleaned was very thorough and I am so pleased with how everything looks. I also am pleased there is no smell of soap or crusty surface to the carpet. There's a sheen that makes everything look new again.

I am not certain that your cleaning methods delivered a cleaner carpet than using a home bissell machine. The work was done well. timely and pleasantly. i do like the thought of not having soap residue.

It took 24 hours for the carpets to dry, and the reason I hired Zerorez was because I was told they would use a blacklight to find animal urine spots and then work to remove them. I know that blacklights work in the dark and actually have one myself, but when the tech arrived, his blacklight was just like mine, and doesn't work in daylight. It made it very difficult to locate and treat the trouble spots. And one of the $75 spots shouldn't have been treated. It was a guessing game for both of us becuase the blacklight couldn't pick up exacatly where the worst spots were. Zerorez was recommended by my neighbor who had her basement carpet treated after her dog made a mess of it, but in retrospect, the basement is darker than a main or second floor, so they could probably use the blacklight at her house, where they couldn't at mine. The company should either invest in a blacklight that works in daylight, or not even bother stating they use it to find urine spots. I called three times before scheduling Zerorez and every phone attendent told me the techs use a blacklight to locate the urine spots. I will be calling for a return visit and to discuss my disappointment in this service. I spent over $800 so I expected much more than what I got.
