I called needing help for my mother being discharged from the hospital 5 days earlier than we had been told she would be there. She was discharged Xmas eve. You provided 24/7 support Xmas day. NO Other agency was as helpful or as kind to our family. Our mom is still in your care,we have been contacted when necessary with scheduling and concerns. Your staff have been very co-operative with the staff in her residence. 10 out of 10.

Your care givers are fantastic, your willing to work with us. When someone cancels or getsdouble booked and we have to get a new caregiver in or simply don't get a care giver that is very difficult.

What was the biggest reason for giving us this score?

The care consultants are easy to deal with and very respectful. This is the second time we’ve requested companion service, both on very short notice, and was very pleased with how quickly they were able to accommodate us. We were also pleased with their understanding of eanting a particular personality fit for my mother...this alone goes along way to ensure she’s able to respond more favourably to her recovery regime. We would call on NND, if needed again in future, without hesitation. They go above and beyond to work with the families for the right fit and satisfaction.

After stopping regular Sat morning care, we have had trouble having any kind of consistency in providers. There have been communication issues which I have previously brought to your attention. Some care providers have been absolutely wonderful, while others, we're not too sure what to make of.

What was the biggest reason for giving us this score?

I've always been able to schedule a caregiver for my father, to take him to appointments, even when it's been short notice. Dad has never had any complaints, and the caregivers are kind and caring towards him. They make an effort to tell me how the appointment went, and if I need to follow up. I can't imagine not having Nurse Next Door to provide this service, since there are no family members in the city. It's a weight off my mind when I know I have Nurse Next Door to look after Dad.

The nurses are friendly and compassionate they were always great! The cleaning staff is is friendly and does an ok job. I find it very awkward to be home when someone is cleaning my house.... especially since it’s not done the way that I like it... sometimes it seemed as if they really didn’t care if they did a good job or not. I would have preferred to hire my own cleaning lady that I know would have put a little more effort into their work. I’m not saying the more consistent one I had didn’t try... she did well for the most part... the other two I had weren’t really all that into doing their job well unfortunately. However, I didn’t feel right saying anything because they were there to help me out and I I felt I really should just appreciate the help.

A wonderful night nurse, Moncy, that you sent me. I was not nearly as impressed with the other care providers you sent but Moncy more than made up for it.

Your staff were responsive and got back to me quickly with scheduling issues.

What was the biggest reason for giving us this score?

Miscommunication and lack of communication.
- On numerous occasions, we've called for something and been told we'd be called back and never get a return call.
- We have had miscommunications where a CG was scheduled, but we weren't notified we had coverage and decided to travel to see family that night.
- We have had miscommunication between our office and Vancouver that led to an ex-caregiver being regularly offered shifts after she had been fired.
- we have had a billing question that required 2 emails and 2 phone calls over a period of a week to get resolved.
- our schedule never just shows up in our email and almost always requires us to call and ask for it to be sent.
- when two new employees were hired, a week went by and our local homecare office (that does our training) had no idea anyone had been hired.

What was the biggest reason for giving us this score?

Adeeba has only been with us a short time (since Oct 16th) and she feels like family. My girls adore her ! She is very sweet and caring!
