Communication
Efficient friendly staff
I appreciate the help so muchhhhh
My regular caregiver Cindy is very bright and caring, makes me feel very safe, and I look forward to her coming.
If I phone about scheduling, my call is answered quickly and pleasantly.
As to a negative, the service is expensive and there is a 3 hour minimum so having Cindy for 2 different meals in a day is not that possible.
My father became very ill on Thanksgiving long weekend. He and my mother needed help at night and I contacted Nurse Next Door on the Sunday of the long weekend. I very quickly got in touch with Julia who, even though we were technically outside of their area of service, found a care aide to come in the house the next night. Bryan was extremely helpful to my Dad. The team was very compassionate and thoughtful even after my Dad's passing. I would highly recommend Nurse Next Door.

AMAZING!!!
The caregivers we have are wonderful. Based on them — we would score a 10 in our feedback.
Mom has 2 caregivers:
1. Georgina N - she has a delightfully calm presence. She is extremely kind, caring and considerate. She loves taking mom outside for her walks. They have a great time together. Mom always feels safe with her.
2. Geraldine M - is exceptional. Caregiving is in her nature and one can tell it comes naturally to her. She is priceless. She pays great attention to the smallest of details— and especially when it comes to mom’s skin and wound care issues. What mom likes best of course is that Geraldine is so positive (as well as her kind and caring nature) — she makes mom feel good about herself and happy to be alive.
Friendliness
Anita has been super helpful on my first day home after being injured and discharged from hospital. Having breaks and three limbs has been very difficult and she was able to give me a really good after seven days of no bathing.
We have liked and found most of the staff you have sent so far very good, attentive, and friendly.
Reliable and accommodating
Very good services, staff respectful and professional.
The monthly administration fee.
Your nurses are very responsible , good , excellent, friendly and helpful
Caregivers are excellent. Scheduling definitely needs improvement.
I have had trouble with billing. The money for invoices was not being taken out of my account meaning that I could have to pay a huge amount if I hadn't been checking. Now I have $156.45 taken out of my account with no invoice.
Hello Nurse Next Door

good service and kindl ynurse
Rahima is hard-working, knowledgeable, kind patient and knows what to do in any situation we have faced so far. I have complete confidence in her being able to help me on this road to recovery. She is a very positive person. and that she impart a an atmosphere of positivity around her besides her strong skills as a caregiver. She has a very pleasant personality and is always willing to help with any task you might have at this stage.
Staff were delightfrl - all probided excellent services
Positive: Caregiver Cindy is excellent - bright, knowledgeable, kind and caring.
Scheduling person is very helpful.
Negative: Billing department never contacted me despite phone messages and emails.
Service has 3 hour minimum.
Service is expensive.
Nurse Next Door staff have been wonderful about matching the client to the right caregiver. Also, the caregivers have been wonderful at helping me with activities I need to do such as bathing, laundry, grocery shopping etc. but can't do since I had another seizure.
We have two "nurses" coming to our home, and both are very helpful. My husband is quite new on dialysis and almost deaf, but Joyce and Carol handle it very well.
The nurses are limited in quality of advice given.
Dependability, communication.
I have already recommended you.
Prices, though perfectly understandable for the service being provided,
are not sustainable, unfortunately.
But what a boon your help has been to keep our business on track while
my Mom is recovering with us!

The inability of the Caregiver to drive client for lab tests or to the pharmacy or stores for food
Young international students in Canada working at night for 9 hours and Nurse Next Door charging such large fees..some careers appeared to have little experience.
Some night staff were wonderful and obviously had the credentials or appropriate personality to do the tasks expected. Some we’re very young and did not appear to have met a gold standard for the job they were expected to do.
Lack of a copy of the Contract after being signed on line until requested more than once
No invoice before automatic Visa payments were made. Possibly not fully recognizing who was actually paying the bills and managing the Contract once the initial acute medical phase had passed for the primary patient.
