I would have givem higher bur only 1 care aide that came to my home to provide services did indieed do just that out of the 7+ that did come by. The Sceduler was informed that no males are to be booked for our service and yet we were sent 3 males all within several days to a week apart - this is totally unexcusable. I found the care aides at other company were kinder and tended to their activities in a professional way and developed a friendlly rapport with the patients over time which was nice as socializinng is important piece to recovery in some cases. Bottom line, I would not rebook with Nurse Next Door specifcally due to the sending me a male aide 3 times was just unacceptable.
Appreciate the nurses that come everyday to assist my elderly father.

Service is responsive, but schedules change frequently.
Most of the care aides are fantastic, however there are a few that leave a big mess in the kitchen and bathroom and leave lights and cupboards open when they shouldn't be.
My biggest problem was my brother finding about 20 used rubber gloves in our front garden. Instead of throwing them away inside especially since there's a trash bin right by the door, they throw them in my garden.
But the few regular ones that are good at what they do are really fantastic and go above and beyond.

Brittany from Nurse Next Door was able to provide a caring homecare provider on short notice after my mother had an accident. Care manager Julia took over and was prompt and responsive. In particular we are grateful that she was able to arrange urgent care on very short notice when my mother fell ill. Julia and Brittany were both first rate. (We dealt with both of them because one provided holiday coverage for the other.)
Friendly and personable service. Patience with a senior lady who can sometimes be cranky and demanding.

Your nurses are very professional, courteous, reliable, polite, and knowledgeable. They know their duties, and are always happy and always on time. Excellent service, they are very caring and serious about their work. Highly recommended. In all the times that the nurses have been serving me, I have never had any problems. Prompt..helpful..know their job
When I first enquired, I explained my mom and was told they had someone who would be a good match to encourage my mom to cooperate. It turns out the care aide was very junior and was constantly phoning head office to ask for help.
Our new care aide, Cecilia, is fabulous!
Your fees are much higher than your competitors. I am paying $95/hour. I know the pay scale for care aides as I am on the board of an Assisted Living Facility and the differential is substantial.

I received a visit from Nurse Next Door within 24-48 hours of contact and had someone scheduled to come in within 5-7 days. The caregiver is pleasant and has helped immensely. Also very accommodating to change in plans

(This is the biggest reason because otherwise the cost and minimum hours would prevent recommendation.)
