What was the biggest reason for giving us this score?

I don't have a high confidence in the communications within Nurse Next Door and with the client. Also, it seems that it is difficult to find a care aide - we finally got one a few days before the requested date even though we made the request 3 weeks in advance. This increases our anxiety as the date approaches.

What was the biggest reason for giving us this score?

The administration. I still haven’t had the charges go through. I am sending email after email, calling and texting and no resolution. No update. No follow up. And I delivered the papers with credit card info as the persons who set up the account never showed on the day the nurse cane as she said she would ( she did call to say she wouldn’t as another meeting ran longer) but again no follow up. I had to chase the admin, deliver the paperwork, then nothing has happened except an incorrect bill sent which I asked to be amended and again no response, no email, no follow up! The nurse assistant was great but I would tell anyone to go with any other service rather than having to deal with nurse next door staff for billing and paperwork.

Laurel!!! She is our connection to the NND and we love her and all the services she has provided/arranged for our family.

I was very impressed with the person who came to look after me after my back surgery. She always went above and beyond to make sure that I had everything I needed.

Very poor service.
Multiple calls to Nurse next door and vice versa as they didn't know if they had someone to cover the shift.
My mother didn't know if or when a care aid would show up per the schedule set up.
Sometimes no one came to provide care.
Caused a lot of stress for my mother and family involved.

No French speaking care givers, lack of back up caregivers should there be a cancellation,do not care for the new bookkeeping system.... slow response to questions and overall poor communication within the organization as well as with clients.

What was the biggest reason for giving us this score?

I am happy with the care aide that we have. However, I am disappointed in the communications we have had with scheduling. In the last incident, our care aide was asked to go to another client and I was given the choice to change my time. I declined the change and wanted the care aide to come to our house as usual. I called a day later to make sure and was surprised to find that she was moved without my approval or anyone telling me! There is something wrong with the procedures and the communications could be much better.
